Metamorph Remix Video featuring Janet Jackson

Azealia and Janet Jackson finally released the long awaited music video for the remix single of Metamorph. The video is something else in terms of aesthetics. Something Azealia has never done before. The video was premiered on E! as Janet and Azealia have been tweeting all day today to be sure and watch the video that will premiere on the channel. The video was only four minutes long, same length as the song. Unlike all her other music videos, this video of Azealia's is not some big elaborate hard to understand theme. It's just a fun song and a fun video meant to be just that, fun. It served its purpose as millions upon millions of fans have already seen the video after it was uploaded onto YouTube only minutes ago. The video is expected to do better than the original Metamorph video due to its simplicity and it being so much easier to understand than the other video with its confusing concept, not easy for the young at heart to wrap their mind around. At the start of the video, Azealia enters a warehouse and begins exercising. She turns on the music, putting in a Metamorph CD. The CD plays as Azealia exercises. More and more people hear the song and begin to enter the building. Azealia is continuing to look in the mirror and work out to the beat of Metamorph. You see her moving her lips in the mirror, lipping the song to her reflection to look at the camera during certain words. During this video Azealia is wearing all white Adidas clothing. An all white Adidas sports bra and all white Adidas sweat pants. Azealia is seen stretching and bending as more and more sweaty people run in the warehouse to dance to the remix of Metamorph, Azealia sees them and joins the crowd. She dances with everyone and goes up to the front where she sings Metamorph. Janet Jackson then walks in, stops the music and everyone gasps at her presence. She then says "Now you guys didn't throw a party without me, did you?" She then restarts the music and says "let's dance" and takes the mic from Azealia and does her verse. Throughout the video, Janet is wearing the same outfit as Azealia except it's in opposite colors. Her hair is down and similar to that of hers in the Feedback video when she's in the red jumpsuit. Azealia and Janet are seen singing and dancing in the crowd. The camera zooms out and shows a cycle of the sun going down and going back up again, showing how much time they've been dancing to Metamorph, They're all seen exhausted and Azealia goes and stops the track. Janet ends the video by saying "That was fun." The video has received rave reviews from critics and the commentators on E! loved it and didn't say a single thing bad about the video. On iTunes Azealia has the video being promoted by 13 separate banners around the site, each click linking to the YouTube video. The video is expected to get 14 million views in 24 hours, according to experts. Be sure to buy Metamorph today.

Justin Bieber the world known Pop Star made his way to Australia to perform and promote his newest album, 'The Collection & More'. The album released last week cozied up to sales of over 500,000 making it Gold within a week -- Justin had continued the promotion by coming out to Australia for a first time since his DEBUT to perform. The news of Justin booking performances in Australia was a huge surprise to the fellow Australian fans, while also being a delight. Justin announced he'd perform on Sunrise, which has welcomed other pop stars in the past including Katy Perry, One Direction, and more. Justin performed at an outside venue for the show in which he performed 'Memphis' & 'Too Good to Lose'. Justin's performance was almost 10 minutes and aired live at the end of the show with no interruption. Over 5,000 fans came to see him perform at the 'Sunrise' venue and waited hours. Justin arrived in Australia in the early hours, making an Instagram video announcing he was officially there and would do his first performance in years there. His Twitter also told the Australian fans to remember to tune into Sunrise. Justin came onto the Sunrise set before the show started, and was in the dressing room while the stage was being set up and the news reports were finishing. Justin came out for 5 minutes on Sunrise to surprise, to answer some quick questions before performing. He was asked on whether he'd be returning to Australia where he said, 'I can't confirm anything, but I actually really want to, so we'll see'. Justin also answered questions on his new album, and on what he'd do while in Australia. Then he came back at the end, and that's when the performance started. Justin was on the stage with 5 backup dancers in a circle around him. Silent, then confetti burst from the stage into the air. That's when he started the opening lines of 'Memphis' with choreography, while on the screen behind him the music video was playing. Justin then continued and mid-way the backup dancers all went to the back of the stage, to where Justin started singing the song in a slower pace, but not really in the duet version. Big Sean's verse wasn't played, but instead Justin sung a new verse that was included in the duet with the instrumental of the normal song. After the 'Memphis' performance ended, he went and sat towards the piano on stage and said 'So, this next song is called Fever. It's hot as Australia and if you know the words sing along'. He started on the piano with a new piano version of the song, and continued. Justin backup dancers danced to the song, while he stayed at his piano giving strong and powerful vocals. Justin at the end had some albums of 'The Collection & More' in his hand, to which he gave out to audience members. Justin then said a farewell to Sunrise, and closed out the episode.

Continuing promotion down under in the hot Australia, Justin Bieber performed and talked with Studio 10, one of Australia's top talk shows this afternoon. Studio 10 announced last week as a joint announcement with Sunrise that Justin Bieber would be performing on both shows, and possibly doing more in store. Justin's sit-down + performance on Studio 10 was advertised in commercials on the show's network the whole week. After his promotional spot on Sunrise's morning news, Justin and his team set up and went to Studio 10 right after. Justin was there from the beginning of the show, with them announcing 'Let's begin today's show special...Justin Bieber is sitting right here with us, so let's talk to him about his appearance here and his new music' they said as the camera flashed to Justin sitting in a chair, and the audience applauded. 'So.. why has it taken so long for you to come see us in Australia? What the hell!'. He replied, 'I know, I know. Doing this promotion for the new album has made me realize I've stayed in the same places for awhile now. Like I was just in Europe, and it was my first time in a few years in some countries. But luckily, I'm FINALLY back'. The interview continued when asking about new single 'Memphis' and how the recent duet receiving significant airplay in Australia came to be. 'Well, I was like.. we haven't done a song since Christmas Weekend. We didn't do Crossing Paths, because my original plan was something else, and by the time I decided to curve that plan it was too late for a collab. So I was like, we don't have one on this one either 'cause her movie work at the time, we atleast need a remix', he continued 'So we sat down and straight up did a piano version of Memphis, and added some new instrumentals and lyrics'. They talked for about 10 more minutes, and after the interview wrapped up they announced 'That's not it. Stay tuned! After the commercial break, Justin is performing 2 songs from his new album. You'll be sure to love it'. The commercial break then ended, and Justin was on stage with everything set up. He said, 'I'll be performing two songs today -- Memphis & Master Technique. This is my first time performing the latter on TV, so this is gonna be fun' and started singing 'Memphis' as the beat came on. The performances were simple, he just stood with the microphone stand and sung out the whole time. Although, when he was near the end of 'Memphis' it appeared that he forgot some lyrics as he got silent for a few seconds and continued. The mishap caused some tweets and statuses asking what happen, but then they soon forgot when the 'Master Technique' performance began. Justin got his guitar, and put a little guitar into the performance and began singing with more rough and rockish like vocals. It was something he usually occasionally only did on tour, but the fans however did enjoy it. Overall, the episode was Studio 10's top episode of the quarter so far and got much approval from the Australian citizens.

Christina releases lyric video for Chrysalis





Early this morning, Christina Aguilera released the lyric video for her second single Chrysalis with Björk. This is the first time either of them has ever released a lyric video for one of their songs and it's bound to take off in terms of views. The lyric video came as a surprise to many since the music video for Chrysalis has already been confirmed so everyone thought that would come next, but no! Chrysalis' music video was directed by none other than Floria Sigismondi who also directed Christina's past music videos e.g. Fighter and Waves. The lyric video had a helping hand from Björk as well. She sent in her crew during the creative process. Both Christina and Björk were heavily invested in the lyric video even though it's just that...a lyric video. In actual fact, Floria Sigismondi worked with Björk in the past too for the promotional single I've Seen It All. That was their only encounter before the making of Chrysalis' lyric video. It's been said that the production for the lyric video was extremely costly although we don't know the exact figure. Filming spanned across a total of three days and was edited throughout that week.

In the lyric video, Christina is dressed as an origami-based pterodactyl. There are origami birds laced through her velvety hair while flying around freely. Every once in a while, an origami bird will fly towards the screen and the lyrics which match the song in question are written with human blood. Each origami bird flies away and then succumbs to their death into the pool of tears that Christina creates. She walks through the terraces, crying but without any restriction. Her arms are also tattooed with origami birds. The lyric video is very high-budget and it took a lot of CGI to bring all of this together. The concept of Chrysalis' music video was to present Christina as a wounded pterodactyl or bird which is represented by the origami birds made out of paper since paper isn't very strong and sometimes even see-through. Even though Björk wasn't as clearly featured in the lyric video as much as Christina was, she was still very much involved in the making of it. The behind the scenes footage of the lyric video is expected to be included on a special edition of Christina's Truth Pill. That special edition is set to be released by the end of next week.

Upon the release of this lyric video, streaming has gone through the roof and is more than likely to boost Christina and Björk's overall views on VEVO and Youtube. This is a testament to their initiative since streaming plays a really significant part in this day and age, especially on the charts where that matters the most. It's been alleged that the music video for Chrysalis will be released incredibly soon and we should be able too see it by the end of this week. Ariana Grande hosts the new TRL on CBS: Interview

INDIANAPOLIS: On Monday, Ariana Grande hosted the new series of TRL that currently airs on CBS. The new series airs at 7 pm EST on CBS, just before primetime (although TRL can be considered an extended part of primetime). In our last article, we overviewed the performance of “Heartbreak.” Now, we’ll go over the interview that occurred during the show. The interviewer was local CBS4 morning anchor Marianne Lyles.

Ariana was sitting on a couch with Lyles, who was enthusiastically interviewing her. For the interview, Ariana was wearing a gray sweatshirt with black yoga pantts and had her hair in a nice, flowing ponytail.

Lyles: Welcome to TRL Ariana! You look fabulous!

Ariana: Thanks, Marianne!

Lyles: So, how are you liking it in Indy? Is it better, worse, or the same as you expected?

Ariana: Um… It’s better, surprisingly. Everyone talks about Indy being this “dead” place where no one really can do anything, but that’s really not the case. It’s an extremely vibrant city and I wish people would actually look into it. I’ve stayed here since just after New Year’s Day and I love it.

Lyles: Where have you gone so far in the city?

Ariana: I did go to the Colts-Bengals game yesterday. It was pretty exciting!

Lyles: I was there too, but I didn’t see you!

Ariana: I didn’t see you either! I also went to Circle Centre Mall to get some more clothes at Carson’s. Stopped by the arcade on the top floor for a bit as well! I also ate at some local restaurants- St. Elmo’s is amazing by the way- and hit some of the bars and other nightlife. It’s a really exciting downtown, it just needs more development and more people.

Lyles: Anyway, you have a new single out called “Heartbreak,” which you just performed. How was working on that track?

Ariana: Actually, not that long. I wrote the whole song in 20 minutes; Antonio Dixon fixed it up a little while Babyface wrote the melody. The backing track was done in a day, and my vocals only took a couple hours. I would say the whole process took just two or three days. Other songs I’ve written for my new album took much longer to make.

Lyles: I wanna ask you some questions about your album, but I need to ask you this first: how was shooting the lyric and music videos?

Ariana: Very exciting! I had so much fun! I filmed it with my friend Nathan Sykes. I loved getting to film a mock-60s romance movie. I also loved how we decided to experiment with the frame rate.

Lyles: Now about your album… It’s called Keep Me Close, right?

Ariana: Yep, and it’s currently scheduled to be released on Monday. This may change depending on how the week goes. I put a lot of work into this album for my fans and I hope everyone enjoys it! I can’t wait to release it, but I really need to kick up the promo!

Cher Lloyd performs "Dirty Night" on X Factor UK



While continuing her long, long promo Cher was seen near itv studios, she was getting ready to perform on X Factor live show. Cher’s career started by auditioning with Turn My Swag On (Keri Hilson version) on X Factor, she sang very well, showed a lot of attitude, potential and actually looked like a true star, reminded everyone of Cheryl. She literally blew the roof of with ha performance, and then she performed in boot camp, judges houses and finally in live shows, she scored a 4th place in X-Factor and began her outstanding career, but let’s continue with the performance and fan reaction. Cher arrived at the studio at 11am in the morning, there were loads of fans waiting with flowers, chocolates, Cher cd, they were totally waiting for their queen, who was set to turn x-factor stage on fire, and show everybody who the real star of x –factor series is. She was also asked who is her so far this year best x factor artist and she answered fleur, she also stunned hard for jazz queen Chloe Jasmine, she thinks that she went out too soon, so much talent and potential wasted, she thinks. She signed autographs, took pictures with fans, looked really happy and over the moon, she was just having a fantastic time, she sang a bit to her fans outside, because she had a lot of time before the performance, so she was just instead of practicing stayed with fans, and just shared the beautiful moment with all of them. But it was time for Cher to go and finally rehearse her performance, she said goodbye to her fans, also sent air kisses and was just still trying to spend some time with her, unfortunately she was dragged into the studio and finally started rehearsing. After rehearsing for a few hours it was finally the time to hit the stage, Dermot’ O Leare introduced Cher, they showed her clip, of her achievements, how she sold so much in USA and more stuff, and finally the smoke appeared on stage, track started to play, high heels noise and smoke sound Is behind heard, Cher walks into stage wearing a short, very short black ripped in the back dress, her heels were gold with skull heads on them, and suddenly a huge cage fell on stage, she was trapped in the cage, the cage was shining in all sort of different colors, and Cher started dancing in it, like Rihanna in disturbia video. Soon dancers appeared on stage and stated dancing around the cage, suddenly Cher snapped her fingers cage rose, and she got out, she and her dancers were giving a hot choreo, with loads of special effects, suddenly fire started coming out of Cher’s skull heals, it looked fascinating. Dancers fell on the ground and stopped moving, Cher walked the stairs, sang the high note, yelled come on dancers stood up and she jumped into their arms, performance ended with stage fading to black and Cher smiling.

Today Cher continued her promo by coming to television show Friday Download, she chatted with hosts, performed her single “Dirty Night” and of course sat on sofa to give interview about her album, which is currently slaying iTunes. She was really lovely, sound happy, and actually gave some tips to fans, she said do not be a hater, always look at yourself instead of others, no one can tell you what to do, remember that, you are your own person, and no one is better than you, but if you want to find out more read the interview below, after the interview she performed her new single “Dirty Night” to a huge crowd in Friday Download studios, and it was just a great evening overall, Cher loved it.

H: Hi Cher, you look amazing haven’t seen you for quite a while now in UK, you have been gone for so long, why do us like this, we started your career and you paid us (peep)
C: First of all no need to get cocky, I had reasons, first of all it is not my fault, I have always wanted to return her, but my label did not let me, they said that my career is blowing up in America, and if I want to be the next big thing, I have to listen to them, so I did, and I think that it was a bad move, but still I am happy to be back on track now, and I just feel amazing by doing what I want with my life, it has always should have been that way, so yeah definitely.
H: I am not cocky at all, but If I seemed like it I am sorry, did not want to offend you Cher.
C: No problem, I am sorry for acting so kind of mean.
H: No probz, anyways about your album it is a banger, I love it, possibly the best UK act album in a long time, never loved smth like it before, it is just great, refreshing and a goose of fresh air.
C: Thanks, I worked really hard on it, and it just feels great to finally be recognized for my work, have been waiting for that for years now, so thank thank thank you.
H: So anyways do you have any tips for your fans, because I noticed that you really care about them and that you really trying your best to find time for them, you have so far in my eyes let your fans down, and that is an amazing thing.
C: Oh, yes I have one tip, listen up: do not be a hater, always look at yourself instead of others, no one can tell you what to do, remember that, you are your own person, and no one is better than you, we all are different and in my opinion that makes us special, because being normal is never good in my opinion we all have to have different colors

Cher performed her single “Dirty Night” she sounded great as per usual, all notes were on points, energy was great, and overall it was just a splendid performance, and she received a very great applause from people in the studio. The show ended.

Cher Lloyd on Capital fm. (interview about album and sings acoustic songs for listeners)



Today, Cher Lloyd visited Capital fm the biggest radio station in UK and Ireland. She woke up quite early to get there, she looked a bit tired, and sad, but then she saw her fans, who were waiting for her to get out of her limousine, she talked to them, shared some details about the upcoming music video of hers, fans still kept asking her questions, and she lovely answered them, until her producer took her away to the studio, she got to the studio hugged the host, laughed a bit, and it was almost a time for live air, but before it, Cher went to get a snack, and met a fan, who she gave a hug too, she told it about it later on the radio broadcast. So let’s listen:
H: Hey Cher, what’s going on, how are you doing, are you good?
C: Hello, yeah I’m rather great, I am just a little bit tired, and sick a bit, got a cold, because had been walking with not very fitting clothes for winter, they are not very cozy, but I am getting better. Thanks for asking, and how about you?
H: I am good, same as always ready for the weekend, but still have two days of work, so let’s talk about you and your new album, which surprisingly was put on the iTunes without any warning or anything, what were you thinking?
C: Great, good to hear. There was nothing wrong, I and my label just wanted to share my new music as soon as possible, because I needed to put my career back on the track, cause you know my last album with my old label, kind of tanked on the charts, say kind of it really flopped, but not because pf the material in it, it’s just that my label is not a good label, I would not recommend a trash like EPIC to anyone, pure trickery and slavery. Anyways, yeah so I just needed to get a bit of push and it worked, really happy about that, great to wake up famous again (kidding)
H: Sounds terrible, glad that you are in great hands now, because your label is actually really great, it had a lot of successful acts, and you are maybe the next big thing for it.
C: Hopefully, because I really want to pay off to my label, not with money of course, I just want them to see that they time and effort really worked, and was actually worth the effort, and I would be the happiest girl if they would be proud of me.
H: They are happy already I can bet, because you are working really hard, and it is just lovely to see you this happy, also how about your fans, do you feel the support.
C: Of course, they are hugely supportive, I actually just met one girl when I went to get a snack, and she hugged me, and asked for autograph on my album, it was lovely to meet her.
H: So you are going to sing some acoustic songs from album to listeners?
C: Yes, of course.

She sang acoustic versions of three songs “Dirty Night” “Hallucination” and “Rags” she sounded emotional, interesting and overall was very touching, her voice sounded beautiful and we just loved everything about it, this girls is really showing how good she really is.

TAYLOR SWIFT X BAMBI AWARDS

Taylor Swift has been all over the world promoting her greatest hits album ‘Yours: The Greatest Hits’ which has been met with an amazing reception critically and commercially. The album has become the singer-songwriter’s best reviewed album and one of her fastest selling despite it being one of her hardest to find due to shipments not being as plentiful and quantitative as her previous releases have been. The singer would first stop in the city where she lives and spends most of her time, New York City, the city that never sleeps. She’d spend a whole three days there where she would not only do multiple promotional slots that would include TV performances on programs such as Good Morning America, The View, The Talk, but where she would play thee concerts on her world tour that will stop in numerous cities this week. From there, the singer-songwriter would fly to the city of London where she’s recently purchased a home, her first in the city, and her sixth or seventh overall after the purchase of her fifteen million dollar penthouse in Paris, France. There she’d do some radio promotion for the BBC Radio network and would even perform Jools Holland as well.

Taylor Swift would stop in Germany for a second time this month where she would visit the capital city of the country, Berlin for a performance at one of Germany’s biggest award shows. That award show would be none other than The Bambi Awards where Taylor would take the stage as the second performer of the night to perform a special performance for her German fans along with the German audience and viewers who were watching the program in bulks. It turns out that viewers and fans of Swift would be in for a treat as the performance she would give would surprise a few. But before she would take the stage she was interviewed backstage about her album along with her huge German success she’s been receiving with her past album and current single ‘Style’ (which she performed)

“Yours: The Greatest Hits is an album I’m really excited about. Releasing it was surreal almost. I never thought that a greatest hits album would be something I’d be doing so early into my career or in general. I sort of had this vendetta against them but after some persuading and really hard thinking, I somehow.. someway decided to do it. You all can think Simon and Justin for it. They were the ones who really pushed for me to do it. They were like “just do it, Taylor”. I think they were right in really giving me that push to go through with it. I think it was a good idea so.. here it is for all of you to hear and buy.” The singer wouldn’t be in her stage outfit for her performance but she would be getting her makeup done for the performance, viewers and fans getting a sneak peak of what her makeup would look like very quick. About her recent success in Germany, Taylor was grateful. “Germany is such a strong and flourishing music market. The fact I’m having so much success here is great. I’m really appreciative for my German fans. I can’t wait to visit here on my Forever Yours Tour.”

Taylor would then proceed to perform a medley of her current single ‘Style’ and her two promotional singles ‘Lipstick on hIs Collar’ and ‘Harvard Smiles’. Her greatest hits album ‘Yours: The Greatest Hits’ is out now.

This just in Cher Lloyd, known for her single “Want U Back” and her recent surprise album, also x-factor uk ahs just been announced as the new cover girl, if you now know cover girl is cosmetic company, one of the biggest, people like P!nk, Ellen, Sofia Vergara, Katy Perry and more are also in this company, and Cher is the newest edition, she is really happy about this, she always dreamt of being a cover girl, + cover girl is USA company, and to be selected to be a part of it while being from UK is a huge accomplishment for Cher, especially so fast in her career, she couldn’t have asked for a better opportunity, she knows that she from now will have to be a huge role model for young girls, because a lot of youngsters look up to cover girls, and think of them as idols, and as you know (heck even Cher knows) she hasn’t been a very good role model, smoking in bathtub, getting tattoos from left to right, sleeping under desk with some guy, and just getting wasted from time to time, these days for Cher are now over, she said herself, she also spoke with cover girl campaign, about how she feels being the new edition to it, cover girl also put a huge billboard on their building which promotes Cher’s new album, and overall this partnership is going so well.

CG: Hello Cher, how do you feel about being the new face of cover girl? Is it a huge deal for you, or just another deal where you will make money?
CL: It’s a huge deal for me, I have never would have thought about something like this, I always had dreams about smth like this, and now it finally happened, I just couldn’t be happier, I’m so grateful and I don’t even have words to explain this happening, it’s just so, how can I say “amazing” I just can’t find a better word (laughs)
CG: As you know many young girls look up to Cover girls, do you think of yourself as a good role model, and are you willing to change for this campaign, or at least change a bit, or do you think that you shouldn’t change because you are already a good role model.
CL: I would not call myself a good role model, not at all, I have both good days and bad days, but I’m working on it, my attitude is getting better, and I’m just growing as a person you know, it is important, and yeah, I’m working on it.
CG: Great to hear, any tips for young girls, cause I know you have something to say.
CL: Yes, always be positive, remember that you are all beautiful and that you all are cover girls ,everyone is perfect in their own way, and you shouldn’t change for nobody just be yourself, and let others talk, just don’t take their word seriously, cause you are better than them.

TAYLOR SWIFT X JUNO PERFORMANCE


Taylor Swift’s rise to stardom happened in just over a year back in the year of 2006 when the singer-songwriter would launch a successful career as a country starlet with her first album, the self titled, Taylor Swift album. From there the songstress would release alums such as Fearless, which garnered her five GRAMMYS, including the Grammy for Album of The Year in 2009. Other albums released such as Red, 1989, and Coven 13, would too go on to be award winning albums for the singer-songwriter as they all achieved not only massive commercial success but critical success as well. It seems that it’ll be no different with the Taylor Swift’s first ever greatest hits album, entitled ‘Yours: The Greatest Hits’, an album intended for her fans, Swift wanting to show her appreciation and care for her fans in a big way. The album was released in Target stores and other formats earlier this week, seeing it’s release late Saturday night.

The commercial success of ‘Yours’ would not only be guaranteed because of Taylor Swift’s star power but because of her massive and grand promotional campaign she and her label have thought up and are putting into action this week for the album’s first week of availability. With numerous television appearances booked this week where the singer-songwriter will give numerous performances and interviews, it’s no surprise and will be no surprise if the sales for the singer’s first ever Greatest Hits outdo the predictions set by music//chart experts and watchers. Despite the limited availability, we hear that sales are strong already as the singer-songwriter has already shifted over two hundred thousand copies of the album in the first three days at just Target, it’s sole retailer in the United States. Elsewhere, the album is on iTunes where it too has been met with an incredible reception, topping the album charts on the digital retailer in over eighty six countries, making it one of the most global albums in iTunes history in the past few years. The success has been well appreciative from not only Taylor Swift who thanked her fans and supporters with a tweet yesterday along with numerable mentions and expressions of gratitudes in her interviews this past week, but Swift’s label head of Tigerlily Recordings, LIlianna Fox, would also express her thankfulness to those who’ve helped support the album with such interest and passion. “I’d like to thank the fans and supporters of Taylor Swift today on the behalf of me and my label Tigerlily Recordings for the strong and warm response you’ve given this album. We’re touched and thrilled. Thank you so much. Make sure you go get the album at Target and on iTunes, by the way.”


Taylor would film a mysterious performance in advance while in New York City the beginning of this week where she would wear a stage ensemble that would become one of her best yet most odd yet. Pictures would leak on to twitter, personal pictures, which fans would discover by googling or searching the star’s name in the search engine. Questions were raised and it wasn’t until last last night when fans were tuning in, that they would discover the performance was for the Canadian award show, The Juno Awards where Taylor’s performance of her song ’Style’ and her two promo singles’ Lipstick on His Collar’ and ‘Harvard Smiles’ all meshed up in a medley would be performed, alongside the likes of artists such as Carly Rae Jepsen and more. There to present Swift’s performance would be none other than Taylor’s idol the one and only Shania Twain. The performance was strong all around, Taylor serving excellent vocals, looking nothing short of excellent, and the stage setup being simply incredible with the beautiful lighting and props that were on stage.

Xtina attends Coachella 2015

Yesterday evening, Christina Aguilera attended Coachella 2015 which who welcomed Christina with open arms. The festival in California was Christina's first and Coachella was quick to hope that Christina comes back for future Coachellas to come. Christina performed Chrysalis with Björk in front of a crowd of about 65,000 attendees. On Twitter, Christina expressed Christina's enthusiasm at potentially performing in front of such a diverse community who are brought together through the phenomena of music. A plethora of various artists from many genres of music also performed at Coachella. Many of whom Christina met backstage and even took selfies with, as seen on her Instagram account. Even though Christina only had a very limited setlist, she was still able to perform an array of tracks from Christina's 2015 release - Truth Pill. The album was released only a few days ago and is already making an impact, not only on the charts, but amongst the general public through word-of-mouth. Like mentioned before, Björk joined Christina on stage in order to perform their Paul Epworth-produced duet Chrysalis which also serves as Christina's second single off of Christina's 8th studio album. The lyric video for Chrysalis was released yesterday as well with the official music video being set for a midnight release by tomorrow, according to what we heard. In recent affairs, Christina also attended Lollapalooza 2015 in South America who have a partnership with the organisation behind Coachella each and every year. The stage production used at Lolla was adapted for the Coachella stage in order to save financial costs.

In the setlist, Christina solely performed tracks from Truth Pill which meant no Beautiful and no Genie In A Bottle etc. Most of what was showcased was well-received by the crowds and some even begged for Christina to do an encore. She eventually gave them what they want, performing a special version of her timeless empowerment hit Beautiful. Her stage presence was immersed throughout the entire set. Energy was ramped up and everyone had great fun during the 45 minutes of which Christina was given. On a sidenote, Christina's choreography skills have improved vastly from the last time she attended Lolla. Miss Aguilera has got great moves, we must say! Chrysalis was probably the highlight of the set when Björk came out with Christina to flutes and soothing sea noises. Throughout the setlist, she wore a very understated teal gown which accentuated her curves in all the right places. Christina showed off her fit body after having given birth to her second child - Summer Rain Rutler. The crowd watched with much amazement as she performed brand new material from her 8th studio album Truth Pill. Another highlight of Christina's setlist was Amethyst Bleach which is rumoured to be the third single from the highly-anticipated experimental record. The song featured the mother of two "making herself ugly" by throwing dirt on her porcelain skin and simulating self-harm on stage. It was a quite controversial part of Christina's setlist but it was met with paramount respect. Christina was well-received especially when taking into consideration that this was her first experience with Coachella and who better to lead the way for Coachella 2015 than Christina Aguilera herself?
