Hmm, I'm trying to incorporate a reflection of both ATRL's tastes and the taste of the Japanese market at each period of release, so I'm hoping by including Koi no Tsubomi with other songs like TABOO and POP DIVA I can achieve that.

Have y'all seen Popjustice's J-Pop rate? They did the same thing except they separately rated every one of their singles and put all 250+ of them in a huuuuge countdown at the end. This way is probably much better even if songs get left out, that legitimately took an entire year and some of the results were unforgivable  |
If I could, I would put tons of their material into it, but I feel like if I put too many users would be put off from participating.
I initially included HANABI from H but later replaced it with Voyage. SURREAL is, like, in my top 10 favorite Ayu songs but she has so many bigger songs from her early career that it kind of got washed out, unfortunately.
I can definitely include Traveling if you can find another song to replace it with from the "middle career" section.

I'm not sure! I'm planning on making this specific rate detached from the J-Pop thread itself to hopefully attract new listeners to the genre. Since it's ATRL and larger than life divas are appreciated more than others (generally speaking, of course, there are exceptions!) I thought this would be a great start to attract more listeners and turn them onto J-Pop. I'm hoping to turn this into an Asian music rate series that will later include other genre's later on like K-Pop and C-Pop as well.
However, if you have any other ideas for a future rate I could host within the J-Pop thread itself I'd be more than happy to oblige!
I'd say you should switch it out with COLORS though, it's not as quintessential as Traveling imo.
