I'm on O2, no problems. I like it because they have random wifi spots everywhere (not sure if other networks do that)

I'm moving from my student halls to a house this month and we're obviously going to need internet... Which company do you guys recommend in terms of the service/price ratio? I don't know how much of a hassle getting a landline will be, so is getting a non-landline broadband better?

Virgin have faster speeds but are unreliable af, go for Sky
My grandparents had Sky and were only getting 2mbps, they are now with TalkTalk and have been for a good months with no problems and are getting over 30mbps, for a cheaper price too.
Virgin really are unrealiable, but they are the fastest. I haven't had an issue in a while thankfully. But when there is an issue, it's a big pain.
