I mean, Bey was good but you could tell that there was underlying tension in her voice. Her technique was her usual practice perfect but her vocals didn't soar like it should have. Imagine had she won. The performance would have been next level.
The technique in Bey's voice is amazing, some of you are hilarious acting like you're on American Idol or some ****
Agreed, but this performance wasn't really about the technique. It was trying to create and capture a moment, and Bey could have seized more had she thrown more soul behind the words she was singing.
"Take Me To Church" is literally the perfect song, so it was the lost that hurt me the most.
My thoughts exactly. Like, it sucks that Bey lost, but it's a damn tragedy that Hozier didn't win, especially since I'm getting a major Gotye tea from him in terms of commercial success. Ugh, I loved his album and "Take Me to Church".
People saying who is Beck are ridiculous.
That would be like people on a rock/alternative music forum saying who is Mary J Blige, or something like that.
Ok, leave Mary out of this. And considering Mary has worked with almost every rock legend, rock fans better know who she is.
Well that was the most boring 3 and a half hours of my life that I wasted just then
wish Kanye had gone through storming the stage just to make **** spicier........ everything was so bland this year, from the winners to the performances. But Bey's up to 20 now so good for her, she deserves it
