GQ: So rank them, if you will, best to worst: So Far Gone, Thank Me Later, and Take Care...
Drake: It's hard for me to put So Far Gone second because it's the first time anyone ever really paid attention or heard me. But I'm going to be honest with you, Take Care, then So Far Gone, then Thank Me Later...
GQ: Last lyric: "I be getting high just to balance out the lows." [Drake begins to shake his head.] What's the lowest point of your career?
Drake: Hmm, what do you think is the lowest point of my career and I'll see if I agree with you.
GQ: I think Thank Me Later was the best album on the shelves when it came out, but you felt like you could have made a better album.
Drake:I'm in agreeance with that, definitely that combined with the videos for "Miss Me" and "Fancy."I just watched the videos and was like, "What the **** are these videos about?" That's why "Fancy" never came out. It was a weird moment.
GQ: People talk a lot of ****, anything you wish they'd stop saying?
Drake: That's tough. I wish that we lived in a time and a generation where people would stop viewing my honesty as overly emotional. People always act like I spend my life crying in a dark room. I don't, I'm good. I'm a man. I want to be remembered as an artist that gave you a piece of me, as opposed to some surface ********. I don't think people realize that we die, we leave here, and either they forget about you or remember you. And how they remember you is up to you. I just want to be remembered as a poet that was open and honest because I wake up every morning and I'm me.
YMCMB rapper Drake is aware of the credentials and prestige that come along with winning a Grammy, as he’s already been nominated for quite a few Grammys. Drizzy has yet to take home the gold, but reveals that he feels it’s all based on “politics” and though he’d still love to win one in the future; he has given up on the notion of “trying to win a Grammy.”
Drake expressed his disappointment about “Best I Ever Had” losing to Jay-Z for “D.O.A” a few years back. “The one that really got to me was when I lost to “D.O.A.” for “Best I Ever Had.” That one to me was, like, really? Not to say that Jay-Z isn’t the most incredible rapper and that “D.O.A.” wasn’t a good song. I just felt like they had an option to give me a Grammy for a mixtape, and they just didn’t do it [laughs]. Because it goes against the grain of everything that is traditional”, says Drake. He also went on to say “I’ve always been fascinated with the Grammys, so I don’t mean disrespect when I say this, but I’ve kind of given up on them. If I ever get one, or when I get one, I’ll be ecstatic…”
Though its been a childhood dream to be on the Grammy stage recieving the award and thanking his mother. Drake no longer measures his musical success on actually winning the award.

18. ‘Hate Sleeping Alone’
‘Hate Sleeping Alone’ is similar to ‘Marvin’s Room’ in that Drake is desperate to find someone to take home. He sings, “I say I’d rather be with you but you are not around / So I’mma call somebody up and see if they be down / Cause I hate sleeping alone, I hate sleeping alone.”
