I know the feeling It happens with my parents too, pretty much anyone I spend 24 hours with for a week or two. After that I always need at least a few days completely by myself with little to no social interaction.

Same here. I think it's to do with me being an introvert. I get a little exasperated when I spend too much time with someone.
Yeah me too, I read that for introverts it's exhausting to socialise for such long times and suddenly it made a lot of sense why I feel that way.
I text mine after we departed ways at the airport saying thanks for a great holiday and haven't bothered to text since. One of them wants to go to the Christmas markets next week but I'd rather go on my own. I just can't be arsed with people atm.

That's the polite thing to do tbh, and you deserve some alone time now. Where did you go on holiday? Was it the Amsterdam trip?
Yeah it was Amsterdam. I think my next holiday is going to be on my own again because I have a much better time.

I prefer going on my own on city breaks as well, it's just much easier to explore when you don't have to be considerate of someone else's preferences and plans. But if it's like a beach holiday for example, I don't really mind being with other people.

Yeah the concert was awesome! Seriously enjoyed myself there even thought I was cold and wet haha
I really need a beach holiday now. Just somewhere I'm not always on my feet because I'm trying to squeeze in as many museums as possible etc.
