I'm really disappointed that she isn't performing this live anywhere or doing any type of promotion.

If she truly asked to be on the song, why would she not follow through with promotion considering it's his first single from his album and I'm sure it needs it.

HIS first single is right, meaning it's HIS and the labels job to make sure it has sufficient promotion, not Beyoncè's. Don't try to blame B for the song not doing as well as you thought it could have.
