Other than Shakira composing/writing the Middle Eastern violin/Cumbia breakdown in Beautiful Liar & a few parts of the video, Beautiful Liar was an absolute mess! I really hope (and really expect) this is ions better than BL. That was for a Beyoncé album re-release & this is for Shakira's 1st single so the quality has to be much, much better.

now now not too much on BL, it's an amazing song and get's waaayy too much hate because it didn't smash big time. That instrumental is EVERYTHING, and the song is a great bop. The video is meh though imo
