Oh Yeah, I knew it had to be more than just resentment he survived & Elena didn't.
Those posters. Is this gonna be more religious now?
Liked the episode. Very nice opener and even though I never wanted Elena to be a vampire, it was inevitable and glad she is one now. It seems like the perfect time for it.

And married to him, another plus
Also she didn't want to be the laughing stock in Rosewood with her fake baby scenario, so she decided to take permanent residence in Mystic falls
Slow start if you ask me. The end was interesting. I wonder what the priest meant by "We are the beginning" or something like that.
The episode felt slow because we all knew what was gonna happen. The twists weren't as big as I hoped them to be. I read somewhere (legit source) that the 2nd episode is really better than the first one.
Ep 2 was sooo good, I think that hunter is some supernatural being aswell! The memorial scene in the church was AMAZING! Glad all the cast is getting more screentime, this season needs less of the originals I think.
Good episode. This show may be salvaged for me after all.
I just can't get into Damon/Alaric though. I mean he turned and ****ed his wife. How do you become best friends with someone who did that? lol
Anyway, the hunter storyline is going to be interesting. Elena being a vamp makes her character more interesting to me now. Not having to see Klaus helped too.
