I don`t really like to see her meeting with professional songwriters. I thought she was gonna collab with other artists as in singer-songwriters? Kinda undermines her reputation as this songwriting genius. But if the songs end up great....i guess i can deal.

But don't tell me "I walked a thousand miles while everyone was asleep" and "Maybe you don't love me like I love you baby, because the broken in you doesn't make me run" aren't GREAT lyrics. Although you'd have to listen to them in the context of the albums (her first album is perfection, her second album is awesome, her third album is very good). Autobiography is the best because it's the most fully formed and every lyric means something. It tells a bittersweet story from beginning to end.

Have you heard Ashlee Simpson's first album? It's on another level lyrically. Absolute perfection. Journalist and author Frank Kogan has written some great stuff about that album, you should check it out
She's a bit like Taylor in that I think lots of people write her off because of her style instead of checking for the substance. |
At least we could agree on two collabs. 
And, not yet. Didn't follow teen acts back then. Her reputation as a lip-sync performer is not helping either.

Fair enough. I should know better not to be prejudiced as a Taylor fan when i am accusing people of the same thing on a daily basis.
