It doesn't matter if the song becomes a hit or not. Not many artists are able to get this much attention thirty years into their careers and at 53 years old. I know a certain stanbase or two is hoping it fails, but Madonna won't be affected by it. She has a large catalog of hits.

Some people are forgetting that she's doing this 30 years after her debut.
"The Time" was #12 before it's Halftime performance. Jumped to #7, then #6, #3 - stayed here for some time. Glitch had it mess up, but it appeared at #2 sometime the next afternoon before hitting #1 at the end of the next night. It didn't last long though, because Glee's post-Superbowl episode saw majority/if not all the songs that week hit Top 10/#1.
