Is it really worth checking out cause I'm in the mood for new music? But I hate every single Perfume song I have heard with a burning passion. They're on AKB48 level for me and that's LOW!

If you don't like them already, you won't like the album. But I insist that they're significantly better than AKB48.

I like KAT-TUN's title songs usually but I don't follow them super closely. For example, I was basically unaware that they originally had one more member. That's life though.
I think it's cool that their label tries to incorporate a bit of a rock sound into their music usually. Better than 100% generic pop, at least.
edit: I also listen to AKB48's title tracks and sometimes watch performances/PVs, but I'm not obsessed. I find SDN48 to be superior anyway.
