Also, a preorder effect would be nice too. Singles before the album should go toward a small percentage of album sales. Maybe weight promotional singles a little higher since they're not usually standalone works like full singles are. Releasing a surprise album would be big news, and could make up the difference. However, if you just announce and release an album with no singles beforehand, then the album wouldn't sell as much. This would probably be too hard and probably will never happen.
But do Luke's thing please, that seems fairly easy to do
Anyway, off to bed. Still need to write 3 more articles for TRL (interview, another performance, and the top 10- look out for that one especially, some of your artists may be in there!), then I'll write the album press release, then I'll resume normal promo.
BTW, what time on Friday does the week end? Noon or Friday night's midnight?

NATALIA KILLS ON BBC RADIO 1

Hi Natalia. It’s been a long time since you’ve been in the UK. How does it feel to be back?
It feels A-MA-ZING! Everywhere looks so good, everybody looks so happy. On my way here I was driving down a couple of streets I slept on when I was younger and had nothing. To just see those streets again and myself in a limo, it really shows how far I’ve come.
So immediately you arrived at the UK you went straight to Manchester to see the boys of 1D. How is your relationship with the boys and how was the show?
The boys are great. I talked to Harry first out of the 5 boys. We actually met at an exclusive dinner party after an awards show and he came up to me and he was giving me all these compliments and it was just so sexy yet so cheesy but I loved it. With time we just started talking and the next thing I knew, I was sitting down with the whole squad and we were laughing and enjoying dinner together. The show yesterday was amazing but I had no doubt about it. They are absolutely incredible performers and they have very very high energy. I think that’s why they’ve gathered up such a strong fan base for themselves.
And you sang. Concert goers said that you were a definite highlight of the show. How was that, performing at someone else’s show to still such amazing reception?
As I said, it’s just all overwhelming and truly a blessing. 2 years ago I was opening up for Taylor Swift and back then nobody really knew me as such. I would come out on some nights and have so many people look at me like who is this person and where is the main event. But fast forward to yesterday and these people were screaming just at the sound of my name…it’s definitely such a leap and I’m so thankful for it.
So we know that you are going to be doing a show in The Theatre at the O2. You are calling it “One Night With Kills” and it will be holding when? Tomorrow night?? What can you tell us about the show? I know it’s already sold out and your fans are so excited about it. What can you say?
What I can say is that it is gonna be a lot of fun. It’s just a little something I’ve had in my mind for my fans here in the UK. You know, I’ve not been here in a while and when I knew I will be coming, I had to play them a show. Something that will give them new music and old music. Something that they would be proud of and will just be excited about. It promises to be an amazing show and it’s in the Theatre so it’s definitely going to be really intimate. I’m looking forward to it.

Cara Delevingne performs on American Idol

Cara Delevingne earlier today in New York City
Cara appeared on many shows this past week and the week before it, on shows such as the UK versions of The Voice and the X Factor and their US versions as well, on America's Got Talent and on more, but she's ending the week with a beautiful performance on American Idol. Arriving to the studios in a black SUV, Cara Delevingne was welcomed by hordes of fans for whom Cara signed autographs and posed for pictures for a few minutes before buying them a few drinks and some food and sending them through her guards to them before getting into the make up session needed for the show.
The performance started off with Cara being at an altar with some flower decor all around the stage and her wearing a very large beautiful and elegant dress which looked like it came out of a ball, the dress was later revealed to be made by Giorgio Armani. Cara was wearing some dark shade of pink lipstick and a mask. She had some black leather gloves on as well. She started singing the song La Belle' which was released as a single last week. Cara was alone at the altar and she started turning all around it. Samples of multiple songs from the new album could be heard, from the songs 'Distant Horizon', 'Honey' and 'Excessive', which were clearly heard for a few seconds. When the 'Honey' sample was playing Cara's dress started tearing apart leaving her in a shorter dress and she got up and laid down on the altar, two female dancers arriving wearing black see through dresses with black bikinis underneath them. The song La Belle' went on as usual without further samples after the three samples were heard at various moments, and Cara sang the song while on the altar, the dancers sitting on her two sides and started simulating pleasuring Cara. 'La Belle' ended and 'Kiss To My Heart' suddenly started with it's infectious introduction which was more up beat than the regular version, as it was modified for the performance. Dancers started coming out of nowhere, and jumping around with Cara who was dancing the choreography for this remix of the promotional single. The performance ended with Cara just doing a hair flip while 4 dancers were posing all around her.
The performance was slightly criticized by certain parents due to the use of the altar and the religious imagery, especially using it with a sex fueled performance. Regardless, the performance made a few headlines and was aired on various channels worldwide who were also broadcasting American Idol. The performance made 'Cara Delevingne', 'American Idol' and 'Distant Horizon' trend worldwide on twitter. Don't forget to pick Cara Delevingne's new album 'Distant Horizon' which features the single 'La Belle' (also available physically and digitally separately) and the promotional singles 'Honey' and 'Kiss To My Heart', all three songs have even been gaining a lot on radio, 'La Belle' still leading most radio charts, and is still on the top of ITunes just like 'Distant Horizon'.

Alan: Okay okay, you didn’t take a bite out of the cookie. Now we have all heard the new record, can I just say btw that it’s really good.

Alan: It’s a really incredible album although they were some songs on there that made my cookie almost crumble

Alan: In your music video for “Coven de Couture”, you get in sort of a witch fight with Natasha Bedingfield. It was such a fun music video for me to watch and I was honestly not expecting that brawl at the end. My question is was any of that fake?
**Audience and Natalia laugh hysterically. Natalia falls on the floor because of her heavy laughter**
Alan: I mean, I think we’ve all been suspecting it. That you are a witch! That just sort of proved it?
**Natalia on the floor crying and laughing so hysterically**
Alan: Okay Natalia has to go and get ready for her performance. She will be singing for us later in the show. Such a good sport. Thank you for coming Natalia.
The Performance:
Natalia stands in front of the mic with a single spotlight on her. She then sings 3 songs acoustic off of the new album. She sings “XXX”, “Stilettos”, and “Eyes Shut”. Lights kick back in and she then performs Coven de Couture in full. She thanks the audience and thanks the fans.
Alan announces that her album is now in stores and then they proceed to hug.

NATALIA KILLS HOLDS “ONE NIGHT WITH KILLS” IN THE THEATRE AT THE O2.

Natalia went on to sing Savages in the loudest, most ravage way she could perform the song. Being a theatre show, she kept it video content and effects free and kept the show all about the music and intimacy of the room. Lights did move according to the music from time to time. After she was done singing “Savages”, she went on to perform the next song, “Uproar”, both songs from her debut album “Ko-Motion”. In line with keeping the first act of the show as high energy as she could, she went on to perform a song from her new album titled “Blasphemy”. The audience head banged and pump fisted throughout the first act and sang every word to every song, old and new. Natalia rounded out the first act by performing “Wounded Fist”, and “Stop Me”.
After the first act, the lights went out for a couple of seconds and Natalia re-emerged wearing a big plain white T-Shirt. She grabbed a stool and said to the audience “You don’t mind if I slow down the music a little, do you?”. The audience screamed giving her the go ahead and so she said “Alright! Celeste, grab a stool.” Celeste, her guitarist grabbed a stool and an acoustic guitar and sat down next to Natalia. She then began playing the tune of “Eyes Shut”. Natalia said to the audience, “This song I’m about to sing to you is called Eyes Shut. I wrote it in one of my most heartbreaking moments. It’s an old song but I decided to put it on this record for anybody going through the same thing. It’s a song about betrayal and loving somebody so much that you forgive and forgive until one day the person does something unspeakable like robbing you of the little money you have and escaping”. She then nodded to Celeste who started the tune again. Natalia sang “Eyes Shut” and in between the song, she began to cry. Most of the audience began to cry as well. After she was done singing it, she didn’t clean her eyes but allowed her tears to be there, she was open and vulnerable for the entire second act. She sang “Devils Don’t Fly”, “Cast Away”, “Disappear”, “Marlboro Lights”, and “Rainy Days”. She then proceeded to leave the stage as the lights died.
She came out again wearing a Givenchy piece and mini heels. She said to the audience, “Okay I think it’s time for us to get this party going again. This next act is all about fashion and sex and having fun. Let’s go!”. Natalia danced and swung her hips as she sang the songs of the third act. She did numerous hair flips and clapping as she performed “Givenchy”, “Diamonds or Nada”, “Problem”, “Stilettos”, “XXX”, and “Sirens”.
“WOOO! We are coming to the end of the night and I just want to say to everybody that has been supporting me since Day 1, I am so grateful. Thank you for believing in me. There’s no me without you and I love you with all that I have. For these final songs, let’s scream the words as loud as we can and let’s dance as much as we can. This is the final act”.
Natalia performed “Heat”, “War, Lies, Love, Money”, and ended the show with “Coven de Couture”. For the final set she went into the audience and she hugged fans, took selfies, hip shook, and partied with the audience. As soon as the show was over, the applause was HEAVENLY, loud, and incredibly long. Natalia stood there for the entirety of it bowing down and waving at the audience. She then left the stage and the theatre cleared out.

NATALIA KLLS ROUNDS UP HER PROMO IN THE U.K. SIGNS AUTOGRAPHS, HAS LUNCH WITH FANS, TALKS TO FANS IN MACY’S, TAKES NUMEROUS PICTURES AMONG OTHER THINGS.

Natalia Kills stopped by different HMV stores in the UK to sign fans’ CDs and take pictures with them. She tweeted her intentions and HMV was packed with fans that bought Natalia’s sophomore album “The Definition of Bad”. At every HMV store she entered, there were over 500 people there waiting for her, security had to escort her but she kept every encounter with every fan as personal as she could. She took selfies, autographed their CDs and generally had a good time with them.
After signing CDs, she took about 15 random fans out for a pizza lunch. They talked to her about the songs they enjoyed on the album and about their personal life situations. Natalia kept the conversation very open and very friendly allowing everybody to speak and then giving them advice or tips accordingly. She also gave them backstage passes to her upcoming concert in the UK.
After the lunch with her fans, she went in to Macy’s and there she shopped for some clothes, shoes, and of course diamonds. On her way out, she saw the walkway packed with fans as security tried to restrain them. Natalia then came and said to them:
“Thank you so much for leaving your busy schedules to just come and get a glimpse of me. I see some of you that were at my show last night that was fun, we should do that again soon. As for everybody else, tickets for my UK leg of the world tour will be released soon so make sure you get a seat booked. I see most of you holding my new record, I am very grateful for all the support that you have given me and for continually believe in my vision. Right now, I’m on my way to catch a flight back to the States in celebration of something that you all did, my latest music video for “Coven de Couture” and my first music video, “War, Lies, Love, Money” have been both declared VEVO certified so I have to go and accept those awards. So once again thank you so much!”
She then followed security out of MACYs and in to her limousine which then took her to the airport. As soon as she arrived in JFK, there was another mob of fans waited outside for her. She stopped and took pictures with a lot of them and autographed a lot of their CDs. She waved them goodbye and got into her car which took her directly to her hotel!
Many fans went out and bought multiple copies of the album just because of the personal connection they had with Natalia and she garnered a whole new army of fans for just being a sweetheart.

Cara Delevingne on The Tonight show starring Jimmy Fallow

Promotion is a small word to describe what Cara Delevingne at the moment: More than simply getting as much people as possible to know about her new album out she's making it a global event as she signed multiple deals with companys such as British Airways and Pepsi which promote her album all around the world, launched a series of innovative Interactive billboards which actually sell copies of the album, and being on every show possible. Another appearance she did this week was an appearance on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which brings in great ratings usually and serves as a good base of promotion. Sitting down in a pastel pink full body suit with golden details all over it and had her hair up in a bun, Cara Delevingne talked about various themes such as her life, her music, 'Distant Horizon' which is now available, stardom and being now part of the Kardashians, right after a few jokes exchanged between the Jimmy Fallon and global superstar Cara.
Jimmy Fallon: Please welcome to the show the one and only Cara Delevingne!
*Cara enters waving at the crowd who keeps on screaming, she then sits down and settles down before exchanging a few jokes with Jimmy Fallon*
Jimmy Fallon: Now tell us Cara you are going to perform for us today!
Cara: Yeah I'm performing 3 songs off the new album. I can't wait!
Jimmy Fallon: But it's been a VERY busy week for you, and now you're also all over pepsi cans, how do you manage to get all those deals?
Cara: Well my label researches for those months before the album is launched and push to have those deals take place around my album release and all. I had to rush do the Pepsi commercial, photoshoot and complete the deal. I'm also performing next week at a Pepsi event.
Jimmy: How does it feel to be on top of the world? Knowing that everyone basically follows your eahc and every move?
Cara: Wel it was hard for me at first when I started out as a model, but it got much much bigger when I turned into a pop star. The paparazzi were constantly following me around and I wasn't used to that. My fans also basically tripled and started actually following me around a lot more. It's really surprising when it's new, but you get used to it and actually start enjoying to a certain point.
Jimmy: So you have this tiny 5 dates mini tour going on, tell us about it.
Cara: It's just a few small concerts that are here just to promote my album minimally, at the cities I currently I'm in, it's just something for the fans as it's a private concert. It's done in small clubs and Kerli opened for like 3 of those shows, she's a great singer who I met online and I decided to contact her for this. My label is currently considering signing her and a few other artists.
Jimmy: After the break, Cara will hold her outdoor concert for the fans!

"Now performing songs off her album 'Distant Horizon', please welcome Cara Delevingne!" says Jimmy Fallon holding the Distant Horizon CD. The screen switches to a view of Cara wearing a pair of jeans ripped shorts which had multiple gold chains attached to it, a black bikini top and golden boots. Cara is with a few dancers on stage, every dancer wearing a different thing but within the same theme. The first song performed was 'La Belle', to which most of the fans tried rapping too, Cara also added an extra outro to it during which she danced the choreography with ehr dancers. Following is the song 'Fall Out' which features Jay-Z. Cara just rapped her lyrics and mostly danced during Jay-Z's verse, the lights went wild towards the end of the performance and the dancers got down on their knees and looked down. and Cara suddenly started singing the mid-tempo song 'Distant Horizon' during which she made the crowd sing along with her. "I love this song so much!" Cara said during the performance, leading to more speculation concerning the second single among the fans. The performance ended with Cara in the same position as the dancers.

Finishing off the mini tour she started just a few days ago which was held at nightclubs in Paris, London, New York City, San Francisco and finally, in Los Angeles for the fifth and final date of this sold out mini tour. The performance impressed the fans as Cara was barely meters away from them. The show was opened by Cara Delevingne's label mate Charli XCX who is supposed to release her album 'SUCKER" through Variety Records very soon. Copies of 'Distant Horizon' were also available for sale around the club, giving an extra chance for fans to purchase even more copies of 'Distant Horizon'. The performance received rave reviews from 2 critics who were attending the show.

Today, CherLloydvevo uploaded a lyric video to Cher’s latest single “Dirty Night” the lyric video features a lot of colours and is very colourful. Lyrics video is simple nothing too over the top, simple video but it catches your eyes, Cher herself made it, and she a bit proud of it. The video has already gathered some attention, and is has more likes than dislikes (well obvz) of course, there are some rude comments, there are always is on YouTube.
Lyric video features a lot of fan work, Cher drawings, Cher’s old tour pictures, all sort of memories from Cher’s life, there is also a photo of guy, who slept under the table with Cher in La, and the guy looks pretty great, girls are going crazy for him, lucky Cher got that, comments like that are under video. This lyric video is just the beginning cause also a music video is coming at some point Cher says, she’s not yet sure when, cause it’s still not finished by editors, but as much as she has seen she loves it. Cher is really proud of it, and she likes how it’s coming out so far, she might even post a teaser soon, who knows. Also Cher said that this video is sort of like a little gift to fans, because there are a lot of fans photos in this, also some clips from time to time, also Cher left a little message herself in yt video description.
Message: Thanks for all the help guys, I really had a great time making this lyric video, because I was cutting all the clips and putting all of it together, watched so many of your clips, and I loved it, it was just definitely a great evening for me, I felt like I was relaxing while making this, with my on my face I was just doing it, and didn’t even noticed how fast time went, I just loved this little experience, it made me happy and proud inside. Cher Lloyd MTV interview about album “Forbidden Story” and performs acoustic version of “Dirty Night”
Today, singer, songwriter, rising star Cher Lloyd gave interview to MTV about her music, life, other things that are on her head at the moment, she was very open with the host, and was very talkative. She also answered fan questions that they were able to ask on twitter, facebook and etc. Host also told Cher which is his favourite song from Cher’s new album, turns out he is a huge fan of Cher Lloyd and her music, he thinks that her music is one of the freshest music events of 2015, and he can’t wait to hear more from Cher Queen Lloyd, everybody does. It was 10am in the morning, Cher got out of her car and went to mtv studios, loads of fans were waiting outside with posters, stickers, and everything that is Cher related, some girls even wore t-shirt with Cher’s face on them, they looked really cool in Cher’s opinion, she really loves her fans, not like other celebs, she is aware that other celebs don’t respect their fans as they should, she thinks that fans are the best thing in celebrities life, cause they are the only reason why he/she is famous, without fans no one would be popular, and that’s a fact, well maybe Taylor Swift. Cher signed photos, gave autographs, and just interacted with fans, she finally went to mtv studios , she hugged the host they sat on sofa, and talked about Cher. Read the interview below.

C: Of course hunny, I did when I was a bit drunk in LA, I went to casino to you know like relax, and earn some bling, but I saw this fine guy looked, glaring at me, and he just came close to me, and started chatting with me, we drank some alcohol, and he started getting really flirty, and started kissing my neck, it turned me on, it was so hot, and steamy, and I like just went for it, never regretting that moment.
H: Woo, too hot. Anyway, what inspired your album.
C: I said in a lot of interviews already that, but let’s say again, my life basically, it’s my life story full without any lies or left outs, I just told it all.
H: Oh, okay, felt like a really personal album.

After the interview Cher performed a few acoustic songs from her album (hallucination, dirty night, and rags) She put a lot of emotion, work and she just sounded amazing, the set ended with rags a song written by 2pac a long time ago, and it just felt great and just made us go nuts.
