Adding the poll option to Lounge was fun in the beginning, but now it has turned into a mess all the "song vs. song", or "where will this song peak" threads are becoming too much and are overshadowing some interesting discussion threads.

I'd say make a section for the polls because they're crowding TL section and it's ****ing annoying.

When we had a sub-forum for Polls, it was dead, with only 3 or 4 threads being updated per day. If we did the same thing again, I'm sure that would happen again. Less exposure = less activity.

I think we are just going to start deleting the arguably useless artist vs. artist, song vs. song polls.

The only other solution would be to radically overhaul The Lounge to separate it into two different forums (one for the music and pop discussions, one for the ATRL and general discussions) but that's too much to think about right now.

Yeah, probably. Another thing to keep in mind, ATRL has been growing at an alarming pace over the past year. Since last January, we've doubled from around 2 million to 4 million visits per month. We always have to think of new ways to keep up with the popularity of the site. It's crazy.

The 'Color Scheme' thing is very random and irrelevant anyway. Who cares what setting your ATRL page is on?

If a thread is moved into another thread, then the moved threads should be at the top of the original one so they are easier to find. Then when you click for a different one, it goes to the post where it started it's move at.

Joe invented that like 5 or 6 years ago to help raise awareness about the different color schemes at ATRL, which were new at the time. It's one of those things that has just been around forever now.

Either way.. the main thing that I'm trying to say is that we need genders under our names.
A lot of people mistake eachother as a girl or boy when they are the opposite sex.
Especially guys.. since most of ATRLers are men, and most of them stan for women and have a female on their avie, so someone may assume they are a girl at first.
