Partition is still smashing at radio. It needs a performance to boast it on iTunes but it's already a hit regardless.
I'm not even a big Beyonce fan and I can see this… Some of you (most) don't think before you type…..

Sometimes I feel like if a song isn't as big as Blurred Lines or Happy, many ATRL users will call it a flop

You are the one who needs to think before you type,in what world is partition a hit for an artist of Beyonce's caliber?,2m for the album is already a given which is great, but I wouldn't exactly say it's selling like crazy ATM,it selling good, but not like crazy.FYI I never said anything about the charts,I just feel that the era is so boring, nothing seems to be happening besides her tour.

I need some of you to give me whatever it is you've been smoking this era, anyway I'm sure a lot of you want more from this era but are either pretending or afraid of the repercussions of speaking your minds. As for me I will speak my mind no matter whose ox is gored,Bey needs to use the break from her tour to bring back the excitement to this era, she's taking her minimal promo thing too far.

I don't know if it's just where I live, but pop radio stations seem scared to play anything Beyonce and it kills me. They won't even touch Partition and I've only caught them using Drunk In Love twice

Same, although my local pop station uses DIL. They were super late tho. It had already gone #1 on Urban before they touched it. They also used XO, but dropped it completely once they started playing DIL + saw XO was going nowhere.
XO/DIL were the first Bey songs I heard on Pop radio since IASF era, which is sad. I hope they will start playing Partition, but it might be a while since it's only been a month since they started playing DIL.

My local Hip-Hop station plays Partition in FULL (including Yonce, the paparazzi part, and the French part), so that's good. Bey better slay.

Just be happy already. You have a multiplatinum album, a successful single and a record breaking tour and all that with the least possible effort. I mean what more can you possibly want? Yes, we all would love more performances and all but things have clearly changed. Sometimes you need to evolve with the person you stan for.

Well said
We all want more because we know her songs have a lot of potential but we have to be understanding. She's performing every night and gives her 110%, she also wants to be a great wife and good mother. I think this is a good balance between her personal life and her professional life.
However I will say this, Columbia needs to find ways to promote her album and songs without involving her.

I don't need a new hobby,I'm just expressing myself,if you don't agree with me then fine. But to say I need a hobby is realy insulting.

Out of the Vevo US Top 10 but it is on Spotify for a while. On Hot 100, I don't expect it go skyrocket but it may not fall either.

Not suprised by it's spotify drop,Perhaps Bey shouldn't have released the video without sending it to pop or at least promoting it,the song needs to reach more people. My sister just saw the video last night and she was in awe,she said that Bey showed miley how to be sexy and classy at the same time, she even woke up in the morning singing partition.
Beyonce needs to care about her singles performance, people are here for her and the album and singles, she needs to take the songs to the masses.

yess people who heard it really enjoy it. even Navy .... you're not wrong. but as I said before dont expect this decade weekly promo à la DIL-BDAY-IASF. Beyoncé is having her Madonna-90s this decade. she's letting the music speaks for itself.
she's been around for 15 years or more: if she wants to survive this decade and make a huge comeback next decade à la MUSIC or COTDF she has to be very discret and not to over-show herself. otherwise GP will get tired of her by 2020.
her fanbase is big enough to make her 2 next albums Platinum at least in US. she's focusing on quality for now. respect her choice & lets continue to stan for her.
+ Partition was bound to be a bridge between DRUNKEN & BLOW. I'll be happy if it's a TOP10 single. and really I'm happy it hasnt blown up with all the controversies over her sexual image. she'll promote BLOW imo. but she doesn't have to pop up every week on tv shows like Bruno Mars or Lady Gaga. she's on another level and this is a way to show it her peers.

1. edit: I'll be happy if it's a TOP20 (not TOP10) single.
2. Ok. then we're on the same page.
