Ok this one I don't agree on.. Even though yes I live in KY, we were not that bad hit.. A foot of snow does not cause that much damage, nor does winds with gusts only up to 45mph, which we are used to.
It is, actually. The Baltimore/Washington metro area was largely spared. They may have lost power, but it's unlikely they sustained any serious damages.
You should still contact them though, as everyone's situation is different.
Sorry to hear so many have lost their lives. Hope everyone who was able to live through the storm remains safe and avoid all dangerous situations during the aftermath.
