Catch My Breath is just such a freaking timeless jam. I hear it regularly on the radio (HAC, AC, and CHR) after nearly 11 months since its release and over half a year since its peak. Incredible. Has it passed 1.6 million in the US yet?
Well she her latest two pop singles were EDM so not very far from that, but I am not here for that. I want more pop/rock Kelly. I mean CMB and PLU were pop/rock and EDM imo. I know that sounds weird but that's just the way it is.
Not "pure" EDM but you have to recognize that they are a bit. I refused to consider this too, but CMB is a bit EDM and I don't mind it. She gave us the best song since Stronger. Yes I said it. No song on Stronger is better than CMB
I love the bridge in this version more...the drum machine slays>>>
It's truly amazing how much she destroys the original integrity of the song just by doing her standard rockish productions. She really has to branch out more and tell her producers to stop pigeonholing her sound.

It really is sad. Like the demo>>>>>>>the final version.
I LOVE the demo so much even if the song is a sexist mess. lol
Any thoughts about If No One Will Listen? It's the first song she ever produced. The production is mediocre and boring but i think it was done well considering it was her first try.
The production is pretty middle of the road but her voice is beautiful on it. Its just a boring song in general though. I wish she did more producing. I remember the producer of I Want You praising her saying she could be an amazing producer if she wanted to.
Talk about INOWL, I walked in mall and suddenly I heard INOWL in some store (INOWL was the last single on AIEW in Indonesia). And I just like OMG the store stan for the Queen

I agree. 2:30-2:43...is my favorite part of the whole thing. it's those little sound 'flairs' that I look for to make things special, and I wish they'd keep some of them.

for example with Haunted...this demo slayed so much more than the album cut in my opinion
