Right? Some big news stories happening here in a matter of days...the Montreal protests, Luka Magnotta, Union Station here in Toronto had a massive flood yesterday, now this shooting (8 injured, 1 dead)...I'm safe...I haven't heard from Ammer but I know he doesn;t live downtown so I'm hoping he is good...

More streetlights have burnt out, which means my walk home from is mostly spent in total darkness where anything could be lurking. Someone my age even got stabbed along the route the other night too. This city has become such a trashy place.
What is happening to Canada. The place everyone once thought everyone was polite and friendly
Riots, shootings in malls. Soon we're all gonna have to start locking our doors!

And I am actually really confused I am 128 lbs and 172 cm .. My ideal weight is around the 130-140 but I don't want to gain that in fat. i want to lose it and be like around 120-125 but I also want to gain muscles which I have been training for. How can I evem keep track of this? I am not even sure

I run very often, practice makes perfect, you can certainly improve on your speed during cardio too with repetition!
If you want to gain weight, muscle not fat, just focus on your protein intake. You're going to want to eat at least your weight in grams of protein. For instance, if you are 128 lbs, you're going to want to at least eat 128 g of protein, if not more. In order to accommodate that without having to eat so much, start including some protein shakes in your diet. Most shakes have at least 25-35 grams of protein per serving. I would recommend drinking a shake (one serving) in the morning with breakfast, and drinking one before you go to bed, while drinking two servings immediately after a workout. You can keep track of your fat to muscle ratio by getting your body fat measured. If you have a gym membership somewhere, inquire whether they offer free screenings because some places do. If not, there are plenty of electronic scales that can also measure your body fat that you can purchase, however, the jury is out on how accurate those may be.

Yes but I have no idea how much I want to gain in.muscle. i just want a leanish look while still haveing abs and a little arm muscle. I dont want to be super buff which is why i feel confused. i have a university gym which comes with school so idk. I just want to lose fat so I can understand what I wantbto do. but i need that to gain muscles also. A little confused.. I am 128 lbs and want to be 125 if I didnt gain muscles and just lost weight to have a lean body. but idk if I am gaining muscles cause it wont budge. I am 172 cm (5'8) so I just feel lost..

It's going to be difficult to just lose 3lbs while also gaining muscle, especially if you're already at if not under the ideal weight for your height. There is nothing wrong with being at 130-135 lbs, if you are strictly adding muscle. I would focus on getting in a lot of protein, limiting empty calories, and try to hit the gym at least 4-5 times a week. Trust me, you can still be lean at 130-135 lbs.

I know... i just have no idea how to thay. i feel like when I am gaibing weight, I am getting fatter. I don't have much knowledge, just going by instict and look. would you be able to help me a little with it all?

What fitness thread?
How many calories shoukd I eat per day then? I do want to gain muscle weight, but i dont want to gain the fat with that. i work out 3-4 times a week. I have the fitness app and told it I want to weight 125 and it saya I have to eat 1440 calories a day.. i always stay hungry

As long as you're eating healthy and working out, you won't gain "bad" weight. How many calories would you say you normally intake on a regular day? Is 1440 too little for you? Protein shakes are a good source of good calories while also filling you up as well. Once you get a few weeks, months, under you belt of working out and you start gaining muscle, you'll actually have your body burning more calories at rest then it is now because of the added fuel needed to sustain those muscles..

I'm fine! I was on the subway when it happened, and we were stationed for a bit. Sad day for Toronto
One of the most popular gay clubs is Crews & Tango, and Fly. I've been to the former and it was a blast (I don't go anymore as my ex-boyfriend works security there and let's face it, that's awkward).
The Barn was cute as well, but I'm not sure if that's closed. A good gay bar is Woody's if you're looking for a bar to visit.

I would say that I usually eat as healthy as possible. I try not to eat junk food but I do cheat like on weekends sometimes. If I didn't care, i could probably eat around 2000 a day, but not that I neeed it thay bad. But I would like 1700 a day I could say. But that would make me.gain weight. idk... I am not sure. I would like to have healthy foods but idk when I est bad calories either. basically I just really want a better core and more arm muscles. But I also dont wanna look lump sided in the sense that I have some muscles but others look weak. I do all muscles but I do it via machines cause I don't know how to really work with free weights. idk.. I am still kinda new to it all u know.

Just checking in, and letting everyone know I'm still alive, just very busy at work and with my marriage.
Good news is, I'm almost completely debt-free, which means I'll finally be able to get a car and (dare I say it) a house
