She is by far our most under-appreciated Olympic champion - always pulls out the big performance on the grandest stages, and let's not forget she was our only athletics gold medallist in Beijing. It sucks that she couldn't quite win today. But Sanya was just slightly too strong on the day. In any case they are both great champions,
An interesting stat - only 6 women have ever medalled twice in the Olympic women's 400m (all won gold at least once except Brehmer);
