Those moments where you thought someone was really smart and funny and nice and then it turns out they're annoying and really ****ing dumb just like every other random jerk are kind of the worst. It's like I feel dumb now for thinking they were anything else, but at least not as dumb as them, except that really doesn't help much since they're like a different level of dumb? My reaction to dumbness depends on what their personality is like. I've got this HUGE crush right now on a guy who can't really be called one of the sharper tools in the shed, but he's so sweet and nice and adorably clueless that it balances out.
I definitely know what you mean about people who are dumb and also jerks, though.
I'm so happy she's becoming a regular on Ellen and people are loving her. I saw her a ton of times on Chelsea Lately years back, and she's absolutely hilarious. That pole dancing class segment gives so much life.
