Came upon an interesting comment.

There's a certain irony at work here. The article is about black "communities" in the geographical sense, but African Americans (or whatever PC flavor of the month you like to call us) have some of the weakest communities from an anthropological standpoint. Perhaps it would have been more accurate to call these black neighborhoods.

When you look at a Jewish community, or a Filipino community, or a Russian community for example, not only do you just have a group of similar people living in the same area, but they socialize with one another, DO BUSINESS with one another, and perhaps most importantly TRAIN AND MENTOR one another. It's a real COMMUNITY, not just a NEIGHBORHOOD. And for one, it starts with the fact that in those communities, you actually have enough business owners to actually support the idea of an internal economy and have dollars circulate within the community instead of flowing out as soon as they are earned.

The reason all that is significant, and why you should care, is that REAL COMMUNITY is a major factor in those groups ability to build wealth, and that's why you see so many more neighborhoods where those ethnic groups are concentrated, with high incomes and high home values. The time should one day come when we don't need a list of the richest BLACK communities, because the richest communities period include plenty of black folks. But it starts with having REAL COMMUNITY, not just shared skin color and physical proximity.

tl:dr Black communities don't exist because we don't support each other, only black neighborhoods exist.

I love the instrumental, but it needs to ~lean~ more and the song could use a chorus.

I hope for the best for Azealia and I hate how badly she messed herself up. "Liquorice" should have been a multiformat smash hit in summer 2012. It had a nice beat and a catchy chorus and that "I be on that Black girl ****" part killed. Ugh man, she's SO much better than Iggy.
