I remember that at that time there was an increase of gay suicides in the USA, so many songs were actually there to empower young gay suicidal and confused youth (Born This Way, Firework, We R Who We R etc...) However, P!nk was doing those kinda of songs before all these artists had careers.
Raise Your Glass was written for fans and it celebrated ten years of her career and her underdogs.
I like FP video. It's strong video with great story and actual message. Still shed a few tears from time to time.
