Before episode 4 this season was praised to the high ****ing heavens and people were saying it was better than murder house/asylum ect. Now all the sudden after one episode you didn't like, it's a bad season with terrible writing?? Talk about bandwagoning
Fair enough I agree with you there. I think she's a great actress but I still see no reason why Mare is no where near her level. With just the small roles she's been given I've managed to despise them more than the main villains of the seasons. Granted her characters have helped that hatred but her acting has helped even further. Particularly her role in Freak show which I thought she was brilliant in.
Totally agreed. I was just saying a few posts ago that Mare is my breakout star of this season. She only joined in season 3 and had a couple of episodes before Hazel Evers but I have been excited about her since she played Pepper's sister last year. I hope Ryan includes her in every season from now on because she is AHS hidden treasure. <3
i already think she's a better actress than Jessica Lange was in Coven and Freakshow, but Frances is just the MVP of this show imo. Constance and Jude are hard to beat, but I really want to see what Mare can pull off with a bigger role next season!

This season is slaying my soul, and Gaga as well as all the cast is doing an excellent job. The only episode I felt was slow was the first. Since then every episode has been on point. People just complain because this episode didn't have nearly as much sex and murder. It was still extremely good so the haters can keep hating.

Gaga's acting in ep 4 is her worst yet, but it seems as though she's always bad with that hairstyle So I guess that's what she was using for her first day
Can't wait for the next episode though!!! I wonder what's left for Lily Rabe as Aileen I was a bit underwhelmed with her scenes (she slayed though)

Tbh Frances ans Lily are the most diverse actresses on the show the fact that they never had a character that shares similarities with other character they have played .... truly amazing

Anyways has anyone imagined this is as a continuation to the BR video mainly due to the aesthetics. Like Gaga dominates the bath haus and renovates it to the Hotel. I mean the coffin scenes in AHS is very reminiscent to the ones in BR. Instead of her being fixed n altered she uses children. I can't be the only 1
Now for next week's episode are they gonna use Iris (Donovan & Iris are at Ramona's house) as decoy to lure the Countess into a trap thinking she won't know that Iris is now a vampire? Because that's a really messy plan.

Unpopular opinion but I can't stand Frances Conroy.
I don't know if it's already said before but with Episode 4, we learned about Mr. March and Sally's connection to each other. They got to explain that to Sally's back story soon. Does Mr. March made Sally a ghost and made her work for him, after all Mr. March build the hotel so he might have the permission on whom he want to turn as a ghost, hence that explains why the lack of ghost haunting the Hotel. And also consider the fact that all of the murderers and ghosts so far treats Mr. March as their "Master".
I also find Alex/John being the new The Countess/Mr. March theory interesting
I'm loving the pacing of the season, so much stuff is happening, you can't even try to think thru one thing, the show already throws at you two more. After FS, I needed this season so bad.
So I guess that's what she was using for her first day
