A promo pic is not ''announcement''. She's announcing something...since we know the title of the album it's the album release date or the single title and release date. Cover in both cases.

I think we are getting a release date, but I wouldn't presume we're getting a single/album cover. Obviously there's a big chance it will be, but it could be a promo pic, like this one for TFM:

I don't remember who said it but I agree with whoever said that the fact that it was delayed means it's something more major than a promo pic - a cover of some kind.

My guess is still single cover (which includes the title of the song) with a release date.

My (not-at-all realistic) hope for tonight is that SHOWstudio releases the single cover art and Gaga presents us with the first single. Perhaps I missed something, but I don't think it was ever said that SHOWstudio was definitely releasing the same thing as Gaga.

They said that SHOWstudio are releasing an image shot by Nick Knight simultaneously with GaGa.
GaGa then said she has an announcement.

The thing that has really pissed me off is that everyone is mad at GaGa for delaying it from Christmas day to NYE, however at no point did GaGa mention Christmas day, it was SHOWstudio... But GaGa gets the blame, they should never of mentioned it.

The more I think about it the less likely a cover is(imo). I mean they only shot it recently so will it even be ready? And even if it is then would they really want to release it now? The release of TFM covers last year through tweeting built up a lot of hype so maybe they should think about doing something like that again this time in early March.

On the other hand then maybe it is a cover and that's the reason why it was delayed from release on Christmas - because it wasn't ready.
