Clinton's support slides ahead of first Democratic debate

(Reuters) - Just days before she will take the stage in the first Democratic debate, Hillary Clinton's lead over rival Bernie Sanders has narrowed, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll.

Clinton's support among Democratic voters fell 10 points within less than a week.

From October 4 to October 9, Clinton saw her support tumble from 51 percent of Democratic support to just 41 percent.

I hope she keeps doing these SNL skits and fake town halls because people are not buying it in her own party. Just imagine if he she wins the nomination what the voter turnout is going to be for her.

I don't know, considering they're all at 0%/1% they'd have nothing to lose by attacking her. But I do think this'll be much less hostile than the GOP debates.

I wonder what HIllary's thinking in 2008, she faced Barack Obama and John Edwards, both were pretty viable. This time around, she really only has Bernie, but like 70% of the party already backs her, so he isn't actually much of a threat :shrug:

I think she'll easily take the nomination (Bernie would need, like, 60-70% of the popular democrat vote to make the big wigs freak out and I just don't see that happening, socialism is still seen as the big boogeyman to US politics). I just hope she's prepared for these debates. I don't think they'll be as highly viewed, so she has that in her favor, but still.

The democratic party has basically already nominated Hillary...O'Malley, Webb, and Chafee know not to get in the way of history. The Dems want a female nominee, no matter how much political baggage she has. McCarthy's gaffe was a political godsend to Hillary...now she can say her emails are a GOP political witch hunt as well.

Oh...Bernie could damage her if he really wanted to. He could call Hillary out for being a political flip flopper, an uncaring non liberal that only cares about being a historical figurehead, and her shadowy dealings with foreign countries on behalf of the Clinton Foundation. Trust me, Bernard certainly has ammo.
