I really did too. But, it's nice that we finally have confirmation that she won't be doing any movies soon, it shows how dedicated she is about her music.

^ Baby steps guys. Baby steps. I'd love to see her in a new mainstream film too, but she's probably not comfortable enough with her body yet to shoot something that will last forever. Besides, it's not like the album will release this year, so she'll have time to shoot something if she's comfortable with it in a few months.
Apparently they showed a preview of her on tonight's Access Hollywood, with the promise of her interview to air on Monday!

Bethenny is really sarcastic on her show so I am hoping this inspires Hilary to throw light amounts of shade.

Yes, I'm here for it. Hilary can be so witty while shading at times.

No. no. just no. no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no.
did I also mention no?
Music has been ignored for years. it's time for movies to sit down and wait their turn. I am DYING for new Hilary music.
anyways guys, with everything in life I'm always about "hope for the best, prepare for the worst".
With that being said, how would you feel/handle it if Hilary's next album isn't successful? Say the sales are negligible. It doesn't chart, or if it does, barely. Tour tickets don't sell, tour is cancelled, there's no radioplay for a single. How would you feel about that if it happened?
I really think that isn't too far fetched. I also think it's not too far fetched to think she could be huge. Lot's people lay low for years and come back just as big, or bigger than ever. It also happens alot where huge stars lay low, attempt a comeback and nothing happens.

Her album not charting is absolutely far fetched. You only need to sell around 2,300 copies to chart on the Billboard 200 on any given week (except Nov/Dec) and Hilary has 1.3 million fans on Twitter. Even if 1% of her followers were to purchase the album, she'd still sell 13k.
I'll get into it more later, as I don't have time at the moment. But yeah, I had to say that really quick.

I feel like everything has to be timed perfectly and promoted. Hilary needs to test the waters with a promo single first, actually to be perfectly honest, I would mind if she had TWO promo singles because I really want her to be sure that the public is here for her music when she comes back, I don't want her to flop at all because so many people have counted her out and acted like she has never had any success. People tend to forget that in between Britney and Miley that Hilary was the teen queen for 2002-2006 (maybe 2007 in some cases) I just want everything to go well.

They don't forget, they remain pressed that she's maintained a good reputation in the public.

I am not informed in how things like that work. Thanks for the 411. You're right, she definitely would chart. I guess just focus on the part of my question about if she charts really low or something.

I want everything to go well too. Very much so. But with EVERYTHING in life I always prepare myself on how I'd handle a worst case scenario, just to be safe. But not in a paranoid way... I hope I'm making sense. She could do as great as before, she could do better, she could worse. But it's not really a measure of the quality of Hilary's work, her effort or talents. Seriously, a song with the chorus "baby baby baby NOOOO" was like the most successful thing ever lol. You're right, it's all about timing and promotion. I think she's smart though and she'll do well.
Also I don't really care if people think she was successful or not. She obviously was. I think that's just more of an internet/stan-war phenomena. I am just selfish in my fanship because I don't really care about anyone else lol. I mean I love talking to other people that love & support Hilary. It's awesome. It's just that I think if Hilary's next album doesn't perform well, I won't even care because I just want to hear more music from her. I won't care if other people love her music or not, because I will. Kind of like how we all love "Any Other Day" and it's a great song and she sounds amazing even though it's a really not well known at all. Maybe after a year or two of me coming down from my high of enjoying new Hilary music, I might then find the time to be disappointed that her album wasn't a success, because then it might mean she won't make any more ;_;
tl;dr version: I AM SO DESPERATE FOR NEW MUSIC

That will serve her well in the comeback.

Still hoping she lives up to her goal of release something this year, whether it be a song or video. I just need those pics of her going into the studio
