Keep it real. The whole era is a mess so far. The only thing that has stuck with me thus far is Focus and that was a mess. I am not at all hopeful for this era and I think it will flop outside of streaming tbh. She should do the hispanic boy because he's guided her in the wrong direction.

i absolutely 100% agree. this and focus are the only two things that i actually enjoy, but i definitely think this era hasn't had much buildup, anticipation or momentum. idk why focus was scrapped, the name moonlight even too i think focus just needed a bit more performances and promo but it's done better than dangerous woman so i didn't see what was the problem.

I feel the exact same way. The material is just boring. I blame Victoria, her best friend. She's the one writing all the songs. I knew there was a problem when she cited Be Alright as one of her best songs. As someone else said, the song goes nowhere. She needs to work with more current producers and writers too.
