This EP is amazing. Easily one of if not my favorite full release this year. SOPHIE's sound can normally take over an artist (in the same way say Timbalands can) but Charli was able to blend her own quirks and style with his production in a way I don't think any of SOPHIE's other collabs have been. This is SOPHIE but Charli still shines through.
Also I think everyone is wrong about Paradise. Paradise is one of the best songs of Charli's career and the best song on this EP, The sound shift towards the end is insane the change in Paradise from 2:00 to the end is some of the best anything Charli has done. All of this EP is good though.
My voting is basically opposite of everyone else's . If I had to rank the songs, which are all fantastic anyway,
Paradise>Vroom Vroom>Trophy>>>Shh
I agree completely. Paradise is stunning. The final chorus when Charli's vocals come in completely, ugghhhh.
i like all 4 songs, and it makes a nice EP but i dont think i'd be here for her to do a full album in this sound i feel like it would sound very repetitive
I just wanted her to go back to True Romance
I loved Sucker but felt like it was nothing compared to TR. I guess I just need to stop comparing everything Charli does to True Romance. The EP is a bop if I'm honest with myself and I need to stop attacking Charli for leaving the TR sound behind.
