I got into Omar recently and really liked almost everything he's put out, too bad I missed his concert last week
The Disintegration Loops is so beautiful and iconic!
Never liked Friends, they were just a bunch of ~edgy tryhards~. I'm glad they split cause Samantha's solo stuff (and the songs she did with Dev Hynes) is awesome.
I love to listen to Omar with the speaker on max while driving. Middle eastern music in general is heaven. In the early 2000s a few turkish artists had big hits here. In Poland too? I love Mustafa Sandal.
The Disintergration Loops calm me so hard. <3
Friends made ****** music. The Way is their only good song. I stan for ha solo stuff and her songs with Dev too. Can't wait for the new Blood Orange album. Did they split up btw?
I like Thomas Cohen's Bloom Forever. Nice slow rock. Apparently he is Peaches Gendolf's widower, I thought he was gay for some reason.
Same Gonna give it a listen later this week.

I'm not really familiar with any middle eastern musicians, but every now and then I find some random artists on Youtube and listen to them. Turkish music wasn't really popular here, I can't think of anything honestly.
Hopefully Samantha releases something soon, hasn't she launched her own label earlier this year? And yeah, I think they split up, Dev doesn't follow her on Twitter anymore
Diarrhoea sis, this Olga Bell album is awesome I'm gonna let you know what I think tomorrow

Oh No might have been an AOTY contender if it actually flew well. Still, it's a top 10 album and I love the songs on their own. I Talk BB hit me hard recently, it gives me Solange/Blood Orange/FKA twigs vibes.
Before listening to it I kinda wanted to recommend you this new Brodka LP. She's a polish singer-songwriter, has recently signed to Play It Again Sam and Clashes (produced by Joanna Newsom producer/collaborator Noah Georgeson) is her english language debut. But wow, I haven't heard such a boring album in a long time At least the cover is beautiful.
Mitski's album is low key AOTY so far for me.I bet on losing dogs>>
Also, Jessy's album is really bad. Her debut was ok-ish but this is so bland.
She has zero charisma and no interesting melodies to offer.
