then she's not very good at paying attention, especially for someone who claims to be so heavily invested in the 'art' world or to have such high artistic integrity
Gaga has some fluff songs, sure, every artist does. But her music is not hollow, nor is she a 'shell of an artist'. You can get to be hugely famous and have a couple hit songs by being bland and without much special to you (Meghan Trainor, Kat--.... nevermind)
But you don't become who gaga WAS back in 2009-2011 and pretty much still is today just by being a 'shell'. Luck and timing and convenience was involved, but it was the convenience that there was no other woman as talented as she was at the time. Plain and simple.
