Danse gives you the option not to. There's other factions you can join, but I feel like the game wants you to side with the Brotherhood.

I started to side with the Brotherhood and changed my mind for another organization that appears later on in the storyline. It fit my character's narrative better.

@Luke - you can join any organization. Some of them may make you hostile with others though but that is only after a series of quests. They will prompt you with a warning if this happens. If you don't want to be with the Brotherhood, just ignore them from now on.

Doctors. Go to the Doctor in Diamond City and he can cure it from you (you can also get plastic surgery hihi). There is also a drink you can acquire called Addictall or something like that.

I'm in this raiders building just looking for some supplies and suddenly this monster called Deathclaw comes out of no where... I literally **** myself and died.

I hate the Deathclaws in this game. You literally need the power armor to beat them.

Decided I'm going to look around as much as possible. Need to level up and get more settlement materials.

Okay, I luckily I found this missile launcher so i was able to hurt it substantially. However it mutated (I HATE WHEN THEY DO THAT) but I dropped two bottlecap mines and it's down.

It's now on low health, but I feel so bad for it... It keeps trying to get up but is unable to

EDIT: THE ****ING BITCH GOT UP WHEN I WALKED CLOSE TO IT asdfghgfd I sprayed for my life but it was no use

Thankfully I saved it just before I decided to walk up
