The songs she released lately (BE, ICF and WFL) are not bad at all. They have strong melodies, soft and beautiful lyrics... but they just lack something. They're just "meh". I mean they don't have that fire that UV songs have (like West Coast, Shades of Cool, Cruel World...). I also hope that Honeymoon won't sound like these songs a lot. I want a new sound and a better production. I want a lot of guitars.

literally my exact thoughts about every 2015 lana song. they just dont immediately hit me like the songs on ultraviolence and born to die did. i have faith in her to serve us an amazing album again though, shes probably saving the best songs for it.

Death. It's actually been 2 days, going on 3 as we move into the 24th. Meant "every TIME" regardless. But you got the point. Feels like bitching has been going on for days anyway. Her soundtrack songs are great for what they are, Y&B particularly rising above most but that's most likely because she was most invested in it.
