Kacey has 2 Grammy Awards, a CMA Award for Best New Artist, an ACM Award for Album of the Year, and a CMA Award for Song of the Year (a difficult category to win, especially with a song as liberal as Follow Your Arrow). And the entire point of Crossroads is for artists to perform with non-country acts. At any rate, Kacey is one of the most important and most acclaimed women in country music right now, and whoever you're talking about... is not.

Of course. Didn't Tim's lead single got really bad press and then abandoned it and he had to released a single with Faith Hill and use tons of payola to make it a hit? While Cassadee was still getting tons of press?

Yeah I got that, obviously Kacey didnt have a huge year commercially (other than selling out Katy's arena tour ) but she did have huge acclaim and some impact

And I did nominate Frame by Frame for best country album. It has some songs I really like
