It was still rape the main focus and yes many music sites had posts about the scandal ...
So why not discuss it here and make it a big deal

You're right, it isn't about specifically Iggy. It's about a man making light of rape against a woman, at least for me. I think some people on here get clouded by stan culture to really see the bigger issue.
As for the Rick Ross scandal about the date-rape/dropping molly in a girl's drink, I heard a lot about it from the YouTuber that I watch and I agreed with their assessment that he was wrong for making light of a serious issue. As for ATRL, unless someone posted about it - no one would know. Regardless, if Rick Ross said all that about Iggy, he would've gotten the same backlash from members here that Eminem is receiving.

Fair enough you did indeed touch a valid point but i must add billboard, mtv and other music sites did have a post about this scandal and im sure 90& of people here view those sites on a weekly basis so i highly doubt people were unaware they just chose not to respond or make a big deal about it which is the complete opposite of what is happening now

So which is it? Weren't you one of the main people saying earlier that this site doesn't know anything about hip-hop/rap and should stick to pop? How do you expect the masses on this site to know about what hip-hop/rap artists said when you explicitly said that they don't know anything about the genre or it's artists or how the music scene is in that sphere? Isn't that contradictory? I'm sure a bunch of people heard about the Rick Ross situation but not as many as you're thinking. None of that matters though, the problem still remains that he was wrong for what he said. There is a world outside of what a genre is known for...there is the real world and the problems that real world contains.

I think that's different becuase that was a international event combined with encouraged social media, which caused huge reaction because many people saw it - no shade but the GP aint really checking for em's latest releases - probably would have been alot different if this piece of lyric was on his lead single with rih? ( like I honestly don't know if these last few lyrics by em are features, part of remixes or what)
