Ashlee Simpson deeply disliked by Melrose Place cast??
Ashlee Simpson's diva behavior got her booted from the CW hit 'Melrose Place', a source close to one cast member tells Fox411.
"Ashlee was kicked off 'Melrose Place' because she was a total diva on set, late all the time, and deeply disliked by fellow cast members," the insider spills. "It created a lot of discord among the cast."

Another big problem, says the snitch?
"She could barely act."
(If you saw her episodes, you know this to be true.)
But not being able to act and being a diva hardly set Simpson apart from many of the venerable primetime soap's stars, both current and past. The insider tells Fox411 it was the producer's need to bring in one of those past stars that also hastened Simpson's swan song.
The source says producers desperately wanted Heather Locklear to reprise her role, but couldn't afford her salary demands without cutting someone.
"They basically trimmed the fat and made it possible for Heather to join the show," says the snitch. "Heather is a much bigger name than Ashlee."
Plus the source gave one more piece of casting scoop. "Melrose" legend Jack Wagner is reprising his role, too!
Does that mean even more newbies will be biting bullets? Why not just dump them all and bring back the whole original cast, while they're at it?
After all the press scandal of Melrose Place (Perez Hilton taking revenge and talking **** about Ashlee when he's a talentless *****) I checked Ashlee's wiki page and say this:
A small concert tour with songs from her first three albums plus new metirial called "Ashlee: Live and Loving It" will begin in summer 2010.
This likely won't be true because Ashlee said it isn't good for Bronx

Ashlee Simpson to star in Broadway musical "Chicago"
Ashlee Simpson is in talks to return to the musical Chicago on Broadway, sources tell JustJared.com.
The 25-year-old actress moved back to New York City earlier this week. “She plans on being here for three months,” a source reveals. “She’s hoping to return to the stage.” (Ashlee played the femme fatale Roxie Hart in Chicago at London’s West End in 2006.)
Ashlee recently moved out of Melrose Place after producers wrapped up her storyline.

Ashlee Simpson to Rock Roxie on Broadway?
After a successful run as Roxie Hart on the London stage, Ashlee Simpson may be returning to NYC to star in the Broadway musical Chicago. Broadway spokesperson Jeremy Shaffer said he could not confirm Ash’s return to the stage, but did confirm that Dancing With the Stars’ celeb Cheryl Burke will not be starring as Roxie. This is a role near-and-dear to Ashlee, who surprised many London theatergoers when she took over the role of Roxie for a five-week run in the fall of 2006.
Ashlee recently left Melrose Place after her storyline was wrapped up. Perfect-timing for a jaunt on Broadway!
As for whether or not she’d be willing to revisit the part of Roxie, Ashlee told OK! last year, “It’s a lot of hard work and it’s a great, fantastic show and I would love to do it again.”
