sort of like brokeback mountain but with camp counselors. but let's see what the other songs are like first. |

damn haha yeah the idea does actually fit the song and makes it a bit more bitter since only the one guy thinks like that but then gets his heart and face majorly broken. but maybe a meatier song will do better.
if it's aptly directed and has talented main stars in it, i'm sure it could become a hit and be talked about everywhere. but my pink video ideas never come true (except for maybe the overlays in sober), so this will remain fanfiction

if translated improperly to the screen it really could end up tacky, but that's not how i have it in my head.
i get that it's about the music, but the music carries emotions (or at least i hope rose ave. does) and therefore a story could be told. this could be just one off the top of my head. but then again i didn't listen to the album and maybe i get other visuals as i'm listening to it.
i just wanted to capture the wilderness and the feeling of freedom that comes with folk music and wrap up a nostalgic love/heartbreak/very bitter end story to it.
but i really don't think we get elaborate music videos tbh. it'll probably be just them and some stock footage a la lana del rey.

I think a gay love story wouldn't really fit to You and Me and in the era. She would gain a lot of attention and good/bad press which would be different I feel she's aiming for now. Maybe if she recorded 4-5 videos with different kind of love stories, one or two could be something like yours but basically each video would portray a couple struggling through life/family/distance etc. to be together. P!nk and Dallas would be only in one moment of each video, playing in the street in the background or singing at the bar where the current couple's story is at.

^ that would be nice, too. but honestly, as i said, i don't think we'll be getting elaborate videos, let alone story-videos. they'll probably just play acoustic guitars AT each other (as max from happy endings would say).
i hope i'm wrong though.

We should write to Jake Gyllenhaal, he often appears in music videos.
I guess You is P!nk, Dallas is Me. On the album cover, Pink is on the "You" side. I could be wrong though

+1. I never listen to previews, the first and last time was TTAL and it ruined everything. It's gonna be only me, the darkness, some candles and most probably my falling tears after the first song. It only depends on Beth if there will be tears of joy

I think it will be some sort of documentary where they talk about how they met, how they wrote the songs and recorded the album, the story behind this album and collaboration etc etc etc...
But, if its a music and video and they just stand there and sing, then it'll be boring as ****.
