Me too. The last album had more of a dark-ish vibe to go along with their black and white aesthetic at the time so I think this new album would be more poppy.

I'm sensing that they won't do a traditional release (radio premiere) and instead make something premiere with the help of fans (maybe something like what Kesha did with the 'Warrior' era where she made fans search around their cities for clues).

Then why tease now? The tour?
Because it seems so early to be teasing a new era, I'm expecting a song (on soundcloud), an EP even during the summer

There's no way that the tour won't have new music. They've already toured the UK multiple times with the EPs/album so it seems pointless if so.
