I don't think you understand this. People don't get sex changes to "feel" better. They do it because they were mentally born a different gender than their body is. Also, higher education is not necessary for our society to function. There are plenty of people who don't go to college/graduate and also drop out of high school, like most of our faves, and are successful and smart people. There is something called self-education. People are fully capable of going to a library and educating themselves. You still mooched off of society to get educated when you could have also gone to a public library, which everyone also pays for, to educate yourself.

People learning how to be doctors and perform procedures are necessary for a society to function what are you tslking about. If at least part of the population is not educated our society would crumble

What? That's not the case at all. Quite the opposite. Our societal gender norms make it harder for trans people I don't think you understand the issue completely and are basing this off of the stereotype of the issue.

Very few people who get lasik do it because they think they will look better after.

#1 Reason: Convenience - Not having to keep track of glasses to do every day tasks makes life so much simpler. Same goes for contacts.

#2 Reason: Need - Some peoples eyes get to the point where they cannot make glasses/contacts that will make their vision 20/20. This drastically decreases quality of life.
