I considered this, but does Kanye ever really interact with his fans? The original article made it seem like the artist in question would be getting very involved with their fans on Facebook and Twitter, and Kanye has exactly 70 tweets on his Twitter right now.
It could always be Selena although I'd advise against it. Ryan talked about seeing her new music video a month ago & Austin talked about her new music months ago too. She's also been off the radar & hasn't spoken about it at all.
It's definitely not Nicki. PnP just came out and the video isn't even out yet. It'd be way too early.
I doubt it's Madonna because I think she is aware her album would flop hard with no promotion (no shade).
It could be Selena since Ryan Seacrest said she had a new video coming out "soon" and that was in like March, but I can't see her doing a surprise release considering her albums are only moderate successes when they DO have promotion.
I think its most likely either Rihanna or somebody completely random and unexpected like Janet Jackson or somebody. It could be Kanye but it seems unlikely since he JUST got married and is probably on his honeymoon.
I guess it could also be Frank Ocean since he finished his album the weekend of Coachella and he doesn't care about sales at all.

Selena doesnt sell records with a PROMO schedule so I highly doubt her label would waste their time with a surprise anything. The demand for ha is not there no shade.
It wouldn't surprise me if it was Gaga or Kanye now, with Azealia tweeting she's filming videos and getting ready for something big and those would be the two most likely collabs she would release in conjunction with.
