A close to the heart ballad that everyone can relate too. Jana's voice shines on the track and she does well delivering the emotion needed for this kind of song. It's one of the highlights off her debut but maybe a bit too twangy or sappy for others to enjoy.
"I wouldn't be lost like this, I wouldn't be breaking down, I would've been over you by now."
So Jana definitely took another beating this elimination getting two back to back. "Over You By Now" is another heart felt ballad that deals with the pain about breaking up with someone. Like I have previously mentioned, she does an incredible job at delivering the emotion in this kind of song which makes it so good. However there are a few loose lyrics and it sound's too much like "As Good As You Were Bad" which may have caused some of the low votes.
"I don’t need excuses, done with your abuses, telling me that I’m not strong baby, hey just listen to the song cause, I-I-I proved you wrong."
Firstly I didn't realize this was tied with "Over You By Now" I thought this song had more tens but turns out it's the same amount. When first released the song was my favourite on the album but it kinda became forgettable. It's powerful chorus is enough to pull anyone in though and it's infectious country-pop production is rather addicting. I feel this song is one of the few on Cassadee's album where you can feel she is totally 100% comfortable with singing the song, probably because she wrote it herself, but because this is where she shines at. Not a song heavily pop, or heavily country, but a nice fusion of both.
"This is my day, this is my day, oh, won't let it slip away."
This song had huge potential to be a massive hit. Selected as one of the songs for this years Olympics to represent Team USA it was played enough times. Her vocals shine on the track and it's a really solid work.
"But he'll disappear without telling you goodbye, oh no matter what you think, you can't tame a wild boy."
I've grown on this song actually. When the rate was first started I kinda found this song lacked something, but it started to grow on me and I love the build up on the chorus. The verses are well structured and it's a great song.

But: You Hear a Song, I Wish I Could Break Your Heart, Wasting All These Tears, Easier to Lie and One Song Away are all better songs and deserve to make it farther.

Proved You Wrong is better than all of those combined, they are nothing when compared to the mighty PRW.
