(I'm completely joking and I actually love her like I listen to American Girl literally every day but I just find it very funny because like you said, she is 30 and she has this rebellious teenager persona and I cannot be the only fan of hers who finds it funny)

Oh yikes. Just watched a live performance of "S.L.A.Y." from right around the time she got super sick. It started off well and the quality was good enough to hear more of the layers of the track, however....

She went for the high notes with full confidence, probably expecting them to be fine, but then.... an embarassingly raspy, screeched mess. I felt so bad watching.

honestly her live belting and "high notes" are never really that good, even though shes a stellar singer. id rather her skip them tbh haha. i've seen her do it just sitting at the piano, but whenever its an upbeat one it falls flat.

I agree. I Wanna ****ing Call You is a perfect example of that. It's a really juvenile topic, so it's pretty humorous that she's a grown woman and in a stable relationship, singing that song
