Breaking Dishes - listen on All Access before Rehab
Photographs & Stupid In Love - Rihanna said in interviews that Photographs and SIL were fighting to be the 3rd single but Rude Boy was chosen because Rated R was flopping. Also, Def Jam had Chew Fu remixed all the Rated R singles (before the remix album was even planned) and Photographs and Rockstar 101 remixes had leaked along with Russian Roulette and Hard, so they might of had Rockstar as a potential single too.
Wait Your Turn - Stargate said it was supposed to be the 2nd single but Hard replaced it.
Fading - It was between Fading, Cheers, CKB and Man Down. From what I remembered, fans wanted CKB and Rih wanted MD. When those two songs became singles, it was supposed to be Fading and Cheers. She performed both at the Loud tour and Cheers got the better reaction so they went with Cheers.
Roc Me Out & Cockiness - Rih posted which song should be a single on IG and fans chose Cockiness.
Loveee Song - Future said that it was supposed to have a video but the Ciara beef killed any chances of a video.
If I'm not wrong, Will.I.Am gave Photographs to Rihanna when she promised him that she would go out on tour with BEP and release it as a single.
Kelly Clarkson - Gone
Kelly Clarkson - You Thought Wrong
Kelly Clarkson - Just Missed the Train
Kelly Clarkson - Let Me Down
Kelly Clarkson - I Forgive You
Kelly Clarkson - Addicted
Kelly Clarkson - If I Can't Have You
Paramore - When The Lines Overlap
Paramore - When It Rains
Lana Del Rey - Cola
Florence + The Machine - Heartlines
Lorde - Tennis Court
Azealia Banks - Esta Noche
Azealia Banks - BBD
Azealia Bankd - Miss Amor
Azealia Banks - Miss Camaraderie
Beyoncé - End Of Time
Can you prove the last 4 Kelly songs? BBD was a promo single, I thought.
Wasn't will.i.am's Fall Down with Miley going to be released as a single but then scrapped because of the plagiarism controversy?
Also:
Ashley Tisdale - Headstrong, So Much for You, Masquerade, & What If
Vanessa Hudgens - Let's Dance, Amazed, Identified (would have smashed tbh, was already charting in Japan)
Katy Perry - Ur So Gay (? wasn't it supposed to be the lead but never took off), If You Can Afford Me (?)
Janet Jackson - Come On Get Up, Trust a Try, R&B Junkie, Strawberry Bounce
'Inside Out' by Britney Spears was originally planned as the 4th and final cut from "Femme Fatale', but our stupid fanbase chose the shockingly bad 'Criminal' instead. pressedT
Also weren't 'Now That I Found You' and 'It Should Be Easy' in contention for 'Britney Jean'? They were sent to radio and had audios uploaded to YouTube but that was all scrapped.
Also 'Triumphant (Get 'Em)' was meant to be the lead single for Mariah Carey's 'The Art of Letting Go' way back in 2012, but was instead downgraded to a promo single and '#Beautiful' was released as the lead instead.
'Dare (La La La)' was supposed to be the lead single from 'Shakira.' but Shakira opted for the smash duet with Rihanna, 'Cant Remember To Forget You'.

Let Me Down was planned as the first single but due to the leaks, they recorded one last song for Stronger that was Mr. Know It All. I Forgive You was confirmed as fourth single by the wife of Darkchild but the Greatest Hits album was on the way. Addicted was planned as the 6th single but they already have a dark song on Breakaway (Because of You) and If I Can't Have You was planned as 4th single for All I Ever Wanted, Kelly was hinting the song via Twitter but it looked like Kelly wanted to scrap that era and stop working with Clive so, they released All I Ever Wanted instead of that song without video or promo.
When were Peacock or This Is How We Do ever scraped as singles? Birthday and Walking on Air are the only two Prism tracks that have an argument for having been scrapped/pushed back, and Peacock was considered as a single but I wouldn't call it scrapped...
Dressin' Up was the original lead single for Teenage Dream, then The Complete Confection before being relegated to album track. Capital wanted One of the Boys as single #5 but Katy veto'ed it, I dunno if that counts.
So mad we never got a video for that flawless song
Dance In The Dark was scrapped as fourth single, as we all know. It was first tested on Australian radio for a test run, but it didn't do as well (Alejandro went #2 without the video) but DITD stalled so it was scrapped.
Wasn't "Backstabber" supposed to be the follow-up to TiK ToK if it didn't smash?
Also, "Peacock" and "This Is How We Do" weren't meant to be singles? Peacock was panned by critics and they never imaged releasing it due to radios saying they wouldn't play it anyway due to its suggestive lyrics. And when was TIHWD supposed to be released? Pretty sure that was just fan speculation. Birthday's always been it for single #4 (in fact it was supposed to be single #3, but DH came along as slayed). "Jump" was a single in Australia, so it wasn't cancelled.

Holy Ground was also rumored to be Taylor's next country single after Begin Again and there was a rumor that it was being tested on stations and was gonna be performed at last years ACMs, but was scrapped and they just had Tim's Highway dont care

"Backstabber" was actually going to be her debut single, I believe.
"Peacock" was going to be the single instead of "Firework" but they changed it for obvious reasons.
"This Is How We Do" was incorrectly confirmed as the next single by some European radio station.
"Jump" was initially supposed to feature Kanye, was gonna be released instead of "Right Now" but
wasn't, etc. etc. etc. It was always meant to be a single but it never came to fruition.
