Hopefully it is Monday! And it's a US release, because I'll definitely be buying on iTunes. UK does radio premieres then it takes forever for it to be digital so I hope this is well planned out.
yeah, it's not bad, it's just not something we should judge the entire song by.
I expected it to be a little bit more risky and maybe even more urban, but it's a fun dance track and her voice sounds good, and it's just the preview, we can't really judge it since we. haven't heard it in full.

I totally agree. hopefully this is what will break America for Rita, if not the second single ft. drake, jay, or Kanye.
and if it is, I wonder if she's releasing it in America at the same time she does in the UK. hopefully she does, because her not sending R.I.P to American radio at the same time she did in the U.K stopped it from reaching a much higher level of success in the U.S then it did.
I wonder when the album is being released. Ir was planned for March with the single being a week before, but maybe that's changed?
I heard this too, but I really hope it isn't true. Rita needs to release atleast 2 (maybe even 3 or 4) moderately successful singles in the U.S (one of them should be a major smash) before she releases a album here. because it won't do well. She has a little U.S support, but not enough to back up an album
besides, that's the whole reason she didn't release ORA here. because her only moderate hit was How We Do.

Exactly.
She should do a high level collab with a DJ to get exposure like she did with DJ Fresh in the UK.

Yessss, that could really work. And I'm starting to wonder if Roc Nation even cares about her single success in the U.S because if they did I would think they would release an EDM track as the first single, don't you think? I mean, this doesn't sound bad, and it could very much so be a hit, but I mean something that SCREAMS spring/summer smash.
IDK I feel like with enough, this song could very well - do well. America needs to be introduced so a song like this, is perfect and 'featuring Calvin Harris' would benefit her even more. Even though it's not a 'feature', it'd help if they did make it as such.
I thought they'd market Rita by introducing her via endorsements and stuff, with her music. Either way I'm looking forward to the music and this new album and the whole era she's about to approach, I've become more of a fan and I definitely will buy this record if it's a US release. I just hope everything gets mapped out well!

I agree with everything you said. And not to say this just because Rita is my fave, but there's just something about her where I think she could dominate the U.S, like, I really believe she has that start quality, we just need the music material, and promotion to match.

She def can! She just needs proper introduction because the people backing her are great (the names at Roc Nation) but they can't just throw her out there. I think the campaigns and deals is a good way to start, or something like a Calvin Harris feature that could get her on the market in the US. Or having her music on DKNY ads and etc.
If that album comes out in a week and a half I'm going up to Roc Nation/Columbia records or whoever is in charge, and going awfffff. There's no way she's releasing this album in a week and a half with NO promo, warning, or anything.
