I want to replay TLOU before the DLC arrives but it will take me a long time on Survivor. Playing on Hard was enough. I ended up running through the hospital at the end due attempting it 100 times and failing. Then when I replayed it to get some trophies, I ended up doing the hospital part on my first attempt

Yeah, I mean the story was ok, I just personally believe they could have made it a lot stronger and interesting for the player. I was not immersed in her story or the experience at all. It was no where near the same level as The Last of Us in that regard, or really, in any regard for that matter.
Yes, that hospital part had me fuming just a bit on hard so I am a bit weary of playing it on Survivor. I have to though. There is no way I can avoid playing the game over again and play the DLC. I need to feel like I am in their world again, before I add another part of their story to my general perception of it.
