I don't think that they are going to play the song again tonight because they've gone into reggae hour.

50 Cent hasn't had a Pop hit in a year but that's only part of the point I'm about to make. "Deja Vu" isn't what Pop radio is about right now. Haven't you noticed the changes taking place on the Pop format since late '04? The change is a gradual one that is still taking place but Pop radio is more Pop/Rock leaning right now, though catchy Urban hits creep up the charts occasionally.

dat doesn't explain the success of 'Check On It', 'So Sick' etc. if anything, many of the non-urban hits are gettin their chart positions because of sales rather than airplay, e.g. Hips Don't Lie, Public Affair, 'You 'RE bEAUTIFUl' etc

-So Sick is VERY pop friendly, in fact, one could consider it a pop ballad.
-COI was Beyonce's most Pop-leaning record.
-James Blunt's "You're Beautiful" was a huge hit on radio. It crossed over the 100 Million mark in audience.
-Shakira's HDL broke airplay records.
I'm not referring to just their chart positions. Last year, we saw POP artists like Kelly Clarkson (all 5 singles), Gwen Stefani (Rich Girl, Cool, Hollaback Girl), BEP (DFWMH, Don't Lie, My Humps, Pump It). the Killers (Mr.Brightside), Fall Out Boy (Sugar..., Dance Dance), etc. do extremely well on radio. This year, that streak continues with Nickelback (Photograph, Savin' Me), Natasha Bedingfield (Unwritten), Rihanna (SOS, Unfaithful) James Blunt (You're Beautiful), Daniel Powter (Bad Day), The Fray (Over My Head), etc. also do extremely well.
Things change and Pop radio is changing. Why is it so hard to believe that Pop radio is starting to play Pop music again?

I think when you are an establish pop urban artist like beyonce, not to be debbie downer, she is kind of expected to do well with many of her singles. People that are multi-format artist, should do no less than the top 10 in my opinion, when you add their digital sales. Look at beyonce, she had almost a 60 million audience impression the week the song came out. Pop artist like kelly clarkson could only dream about success like that. BUt in all, it's great that beyonce has establish herself as that, now it is for her in my opinion not to take advantage of that. She basically can release anything and it will go the top 10.

All of Kelly Clarkson's singles from Breakaway had over 60 Million in audience. SUBG actually hit the 100 Million mark, BTHE & BOY hit the 90 Million mark, Walk Away went near the 70 Million mark, and Breakaway peaked at #6 on the BB100 when Digital sales weren't even included.

Oh I was refering to the first week, I don't question the success of any kelly singles, cause, she had an incredible year, especially considering she was played on only two formats at the most, rather than someone like beyonce that is almost guaranteed to be played on three or four formats.
