From what I remember it was actually a yawn. She tweeted about a yawn that like popped her jaw or something and yahoo Japan did a story on it.

The day Respect the Power of Love was released back in 1999, her mom's brother in law struck her with a car, got out and killed her with an axe, then drank poison and killed himself. Still one of the most horrifying stories I've heard.

Perhaps she was feeling lonely. Hopefully we get some news on some new music soon. It's ridiculous seeing her do more promo now compared to when she actually actually had new music to promote.
