I also agree. Get Up Get Down is a nice change of pace and could do very well!

when you listen to Phillip in his interviews, he has mentionned three songs "Man on the Moon", "Get Up Get Down" and "Hold On" but Man on the Moon is most likely the next single, so you can use this smiley

That date makes absolutely no sense. The ending of American Idol is May 16th, and he's already performed GGG on there.
I hope it gives the song some sort of longevity or that they're planning some more promo, but this is really going to affect GGG.

I agree with you, it makes no freaking sense  I suppose Phillip is going to perform the song again in Top 3 or in the final, just as every year the person that has the goodbye song does. So that means, it will receive another boost, but it would be much better with pop support.

Bleh, I guess the song will stay hovering around 50 and get boosts every Thursday because it's the good-bye song until another potential performance.
A plus though is that the song is doing great without pop support! Hopefully it continues to keep receiving positive updates.

The add date makes absolutely no sense, but honestly given the kind of legs music like this generally has, I think he's still looking at a hit here. It's not the same as some pop gal song and our local college/alternative station is spinning it quite a bit here (like they did with "Home" before it even touched pop radio proper in this area). It really is too good of a song to underperform, especially after how much they put into "Home", so I'm sure with the finale they'll tie in another performance and really push for something.
