My problem with this song rests in the fact that it wasn't just a piano ballad, which it would have felt better as. The guitars seem out of place and make the song a lot different. The heavy drums in the chorus are reminiscent of a Skylar Grey song, which is okay, but doesn't sound great on Rihanna. She handles the song near-perfect vocally, especially the high notes/shouts right before the chorus. The bridge is vocally perfect, especially when you can really hear the emotion in her voice. One of the better ones from Rihanna in this rate.

Things are looking slim for P!nk and Katy, hopefully they survive the next few ruthless updates.
I predicted this song would make it a LOT farther, just because it has that "wow" factor about it. In it's production, it inherently reminds me of "The Weeknd." Vocally, it's pretty weak. The guitars in the back are nice, and the solo towards the end is great. The lo-fi drums really help the verses stand out in and of themselves. The chord progressions are pretty basic, but the whole "acoustic"-y sound of the song helps it a lot. I don't imagine too many people will be upset about this, but you never know.

Ke$ha back on top again. Hopefully she gets a few out in the next rounds to even the playing field.
