This song is no different than what you hear on Brandy's album. This song really doesn't stand out whatsoever. Neither the production nor the lyrics are something never heard before. Call me a troll or whatever you want but it's the truth.

You mentioned people being able to voice their opinion respectfully and that's what I did. I posted my opinion, and so did someone else, and people b*tched about it. In another thread, I voiced my opinion and got called a troll that was seeking attention.

Boo hoo. You were replying to every remotely complimentary post with personal attacks. You were
trolling.
The irony of it all is that you're the one showing just how little you know about music.
1) In a musical context, generic means a song that follows trends and brings to the table absolutely nothing but the same beats, themes and melodies that everyone is doing. AKA, some standard dance-pop/RnB track about being in the "clerb" or a Trey Songz mid-tempo RnB track about making love. Factually, this song is the polar opposite of generic.
2) This is a neo-soul track. Neither Brandy or Melanie Fiona have ever even stepped foot into this genre, let alone recorded a similarly sounding/produced song. Please educate yourself before commenting.
