I mean, it was obvious the moment the video went viral that "Gangnam Style" is going to stand the test of time...even if it's in the way that "Macarena" has stood the test of time. "One More Night" could spend 17 weeks at #1 and still not have that kind of impact.

True, very true. But on the flip side of things, I doubt that would bother Maroon 5 much when they have gotten another hit 10 years into their careers, and this will probably be PSY's only hit.

Most definitely Maroon 5 would like Psy to get its (deserved) time at number one...
This is what Scooter Brown tweeted hours ago :
And I think anyone, even the greatest of Maroon 5 fans, are agreeing with Adam there (but he's so cute in being that sweet to Psy).
I adore One More Night, but yeah, five weeks are too much considering this is not their best song at all, but yet it will get to spend the greatest of span time at number one.

Being T10 on Digital Songs these days can't even guarantee T50? Hmm, considering that when the album Speak Now was released only one album track got in the T10, my guess that Red would only get one album track in the T40 seems on track.

Wow with Red's drop I'm surprised that Begin Again only fell the same # of spots as the radio/music video promoted Live While We're Young.

Chris and Ne-Yo need to go top ten.
Diamonds is a certainty for it, unfortunately, but with any luck, ,it will not go number one.

It's not surprising. Their sales dropped cause Taylor's third promo single booted them out, and they don't have much in the way of streaming

They shouldn't even be on the hot 100. There's way too much weight given to AirPlay now. Under the old system they might not have even bubbled under

I don't even think Justin has even acknowledged Gangnam Style in the least.

This is Chris Brown's urban single, and it's looking to chart top 40 in the UK, which is MUCH better than any of Nicki's urban singles did here.
